I have had this watch for a little over 3 months. I've been impressed with its tracking abilities, accuracy and design. It's easy to use and comfortable to wear and very durable. I did have an incident where my screen unexpectedly cracked. I reached out to the company to report it, but was a few days after my warranty had ended and they honored it. I called the customer service line and someone answered and I was able to speak to actually human to get the issue resolved and a replacement watch processed. I cannot say enough positive things about this company, their product, and their customer service. High quality in all three areas is rare these days and I would definitely buy from them again. I do wish I could find a 3rd party protective case for it, just for added durability, but there doesn't appear to be any for the limited edition design. ... show more

    • Not perfect but REALLY good
I had four FitBits in the past four years, all of which broke because of heavy perspiration [why a company would not design its sports watch to be waterproof is beyond me]. So I decided to try this one based on a recommendation from a friend. This is a really nice sports watch. Yes, it is very waterproof and it does a lot of things for free, many more than the Fitbit every did. I do have to wear it tight while sleeping so it will track everything as I toss and turn but it does a great job in logging data. I'm a cyclist and routinely clock 20 miles. The only issue I have is that its automatic logging doesn't start up immediately as I begin the ride. I must tell it I'm going outdoor cycling and then it will start when I tell it or after a short delay automatically. The GPS is accurate and it works with STRAVA so I can share rides and team up with other folks for fitness goals. Another thing I like about this watch is it allows almost any clock face to be uploaded. Another app, the Amazfaces app, allowed me to upload the ROLEX Oyster Submariner face and I do get a good laugh each time I check it. It is a bit larger than I wanted but it is very nice looking on my wrist despite its size. So if it weren't for the fact that I must have the watch tight at night, I'd rate this 5 stars all the way. ... show more

Battery lasted about a week. Had some confusion at first but after playing with everything it's a good watch and perfect for what I needed. It is on the bigger side but it looks really classy so I was ok with that.

April 6, 2024: Update, I reached out to customer service because, well, the battery problem is simply unacceptable for only having it for just over a year. Let me preface how it is used: I wear it 24/7, but use it to 1) look at texts/calls as they come in 2) check the time, 3) use the stop watch for about 20 minutes a day total and 4) find my phone. Most of these features I only use about 5 times a week. I don't use it to play games or really much of anything that would suck the battery up too badly. So when I reached out to customer service their response was very obviously automated asking me to troubleshoot the problem. No issue. When I did and said more or less, "it is pretty obviously the battery", they essentially reiterated ways I could try to "save" the battery life, with another automated response. Suggestions included: Please refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot the issue: 1) The watch charging takes about 2.5 hours, please confirm whether your watch is fully charged; 2) The battery life may vary according to settings, usage, climatic temperature, and other factors. So the actual result may differ from the laboratory data. 3) The more power-consuming applications in the watch will also shorten the battery life. Please also check whether the watch is with the latest firmware. If not, please upgrade the watch and observe the battery performance; Note: The following apps would cause fast power consumption: screen display, sleep breathing quality, frequent use of Bluetooth phones or listening to music (if supported), the Screen-on Duration for too long, too many notification reminders, Always On Display enabled, GPS for a long time Exercise, turn on Auto Blood Oxygen Monitor, etc. 4) Then please do the following settings to see if the watch battery life will improve. * Set the Response speed of Lift wrist to view info function to Normal mode * Turn off the Always On Display * Disable Sleep breathing quality monitoring * Disable Auto Stress Monitoring * Disable Auto Blood Oxygen Monitor * Change the Screen-on Duration time to 5 seconds * Do not choose any Wake-up Mode for Offline Voice Control It has now been 4 days since that reply, at which point I reiterated that it is very obviously an issue with the battery and disabling any and all of the above "suggestions" would defeat the purpose of having a smartwatch. I'm still waiting on a response. Changing my review to a one star because of the customer service. March 31, 2024: I've had this watch for over a year, 16 months to be exact. All of a sudden the battery life just tanked, despite using it exactly the same as I always have in the past. It's battery life is okay but only lasts about half as long as it used to. Additionally, it has issues with notifications where it will continue to display text notifications that I've already read and acknowledged. Again, not a big deal but annoying. Overall, it is an okay watch. I'm not sure if I intend to continue using it moving forward or if I will get something different. ... show more

We have been using Galaxy active watches for years until a couple of years ago my honey and I were walking on the beach in Daytona as we always do and tracking our steps but somehow my steps were doubling and so began the long arduous process of finding out why long story short Galaxy Watches are attached to the Wear app so that if you have your phone and not your watch it will still count steps but does not use gps. In comes Amazifit, after searching far and wide many many times, orders, and of course returns (thank you Amazon for your awesome service), reading this Amazit watch is all you need. Multiple GPS syncs to satellites to ensure that your steps as well as other health and sleep data are the most accurate you can find. The watch diameter for this particular watch is on the large side and while not super heavy it does have a weighty feel that some people may not like.
