    • This one has everything I need, and I don't have to charge it, hardly ever.
This is my second Amazfit Bip for me, this one is the Lite, and I bought one for a present for a friend. So I have bought three. I went through a lot of non-Apple smart watches to finally settle on this. Hands down the most amazing thing is the battery life. 6 weeks easily. I don't use all the features so it even goes longer. The Lite model does not have GPS. I am not a distance runner and I never used it on the one I had before, so I will not miss it. I use it for counting steps, sleep analysis, and for call and text notifications. It does track several sports and tracks heart rate. There are a lot of goal setting features, and motivational record keeping features that I should be using. It connects with a few other health apps. The only one I use is Apple Health. I turn my phone ringer off to go into meetings, and rehearsals, and then, of course, for get to turn it back on and will miss calls. This fixes that. I will still get notifications if the phone ringer is off. If I am in a meeting I can see who called, and know to call them back. You cannot take calls on the watch, but you are alerted that you got a call and who it is, so you can call back when it is convenient. The texts are quite small and hard to read, but you can get the gist of it and then check it on the phone (or not) when you are ready. I got the new one because I was tired of the black and wanted pink. (It's priced well, so one can do that.) But it came with a much improved app. Zepp replaces Mi Fit. So that was a bonus. There are so many more expensive models. This one has everything I need, and much more that I don't, and I don't have to charge it, hardly ever. They are doing a good job. ... show more

I don’t see how this battery could last 45 days. My daughter is 11 and doesn’t even use the fitness functions. She likes the heart rate, weather, date, and time. I have reminders set up for her to keep her drinking water and alarms to wake her up in the am. It makes no sounds, only vibrates. For the price I am impressed with this watch. The battery lasts my daughter about a week which I’m still very happy about. I get a good idea of her sleep. For homeschool we will be using the reminders to keep her on track though we haven’t yet as it was a Christmas gift. I do wish there were a few more feminine watch face options or customizable options but it’s perfect for my 11 yo and anyone that wants a simple to use basic smart watch. ... show more

    • Battery life is amazing
The battery life is amazing and I like the style. The only thing I don't like about the watch is the band. It is very long and cheaply made. The small band that holds the strap in place broke right away. I had to cut 2 inches off the band because of the length and then velcroed the strap. Had this watch for nearly a month and the battery is still at 40 percent. It's extremely comfortable and lightweight. Using features eats up more battery life so you will need to manage which features you want to use versus how often you want to charge the watch. A fantastic watch for the price.

When I was searching for a watch like this, I had a limited budget. I still wanted good quality though. This was exactly what I needed. You cannot reply to messages, but I didn’t want that. It gives you a variety of notifications! I would spend a day playing with it and the app to familiarize yourself with its features, but I love mine!     • Fails to count all steps
I bought this mainly to monitor heart rate while I exercise. As a step counter it's a fail. By the time the Iphone in my pocket told me I had 3830 steps, the Amazfit Bip registered around 2280. Is it because it only registers if I swing my arms? I don't know if this is a weakness for all fitness trackers. I'll keep this to monitor heart rate occasionally, since it's inexpensive, but so far, the Iphone in my pocket is far superior. ... show more

I love this watch because I can get notifications for calls, text and ALL of my emails and notifications from other apps too. Not all of the smart watches can do that. But I have a big dilemma that the font is tooooo small. If you have an Android phone you can get that changed. I have an iPhone and I am still looking for a solution. If not then I will have to return it. So sad..... ... show more
