This water bottle cap is awesome. The cap that came with the bottle was separating and wasn’t fully sealing, it just spun around without getting tight. I was so excited to see this cap with straw. Cap fully seals and came with 2 straws! I hope it will fit some of my other bottles too.

I've had my corkcicle bottles since 2017? Recently started using a plastic bottle with a similar straw feature, but was really missing how cold and hot my Corkcicle kept things. So I bought, it came with 2 straws. I cut my 160z bottle's straw with normal pair of scissors and it cut smoothly. The top is leakproof like the normal canteen top and the straws are working great. This will be so much easier to drink from while I'm driving, at festivals or even just at my desk since it keeps the water sealed like the other top and it's easy to just pop open the tab for the straw. Having a watertight bottle with straw at my desk with my computer tower is just a super small but easy quality of life upgrade. ... show more

    • Lid is great, straw not so much. So I fixed it and it is great!
I read all of the reviews saying that the straw was not the best and i decided to take a chance and get this lid anyway. The Reviews were absolutely right, but that is not a reason to avoid buying this product. The straws that come with this product simply do not seal well. The work okay, but the suction is not great because of the lack of seal. I happened to have some silicone reusable straws already and once I replaced the original straw with one of these it works great! You can get a pack of silicone straws online for like $5. The lid seals to the water bottle very well and I have wanted a straw lid for my Corkcicle canteens for a while. With these adjustments I definitely recommend this product ... show more

This lid is high quality, fits perfectly, and the spout mechanism and design are very nice. However, the spout does not function well when I try to use it to drink, mainly due to the fact that the inner diameter of the straws included with the lid is slightly too large to ensure a tight fit, resulting in poor suction performance. You have to trim the straws to the correct length, but that is only a minor inconvenience. The bigger issue is that the straw falls off of the spout inside the bottle at least a few times each day when I attempt to sip my drink. It works slightly better if I don't open the spout all of the way (keeping it about a 75-degree angle rather than a 90-degree angle to the top of the lid), but the poor performance of the straw/spout combo is a major annoyance and very disappointing at the price point for this item. ... show more

I bought the canteen cap for my Corkcicle to make it easier to take a cold drink while driving (non-alcoholic!). The cap is sturdy, the straw flexible enough to insert around ice cubes, and the metal ring strong enough to carry a full canteen without my fearing it will snap off. My Corkcicle itself is battered, having fallen off railings and the top of my car when I drove off, forgetting I had put it there when I needed a hand to unlock the door.     • Difficult to open, cheap carrying loop.
Our household has purchased several Corksicle products before this, four wine glasses, and I had purchased a 25oz canteen for my fiancee’s birthday. I purchased the cap to go with it. It was extremely disappointing, given our other experiences with Corksicle products. For starters, the metal hoop carrying handle does not approach the feel and quality of other Corksicle products. It has sharp-ish edges and feels like a cheap tacked-on afterthought. It certainly would not be comfortable to carry around for any extended length of time. We considered adding a carabiner, but then we found the other glaring fault. The flip up spout is presumably designed to be opened with a flick of the thumb. However, we both needed two hands to get it popped up, and then needed to flip it completely open using the drinking end (not very sanitary). I nearly bent my thumbnails backward trying to open it. We thought maybe it would be easier when it was on the canteen, but it was just as difficult to open. I can speak to the water tightness, as we determined pretty quickly the cap was not what we wanted. We will be returning this product and not getting another. Maybe we got a dud that was extremely tight and difficult to open, but the carrying loop isn’t good either. Together, they add up to a product I would not recommend. ... show more
