The lease appears to be well made and from good strong materials. It was called a cat leash and I think that might be a very good description. I am using it for a small dog. It's overall strength and looks are just fine. I have found one problem and that is it becomes uncomfortable to hold after a long walk. My dog may be small but he does pull on the leash. In addition he likes to take long walks so I think I need to get a leash that is a little wider to make it more comfortable to hold. Lost my Boston terriers leash in the woods. Bought this as a replacement. Seems sturdy enough but it's not quite as wide or thick as his old one and you can the quality of the clip is smaller and not as heavy. I think it will be okay though

I have purchased dozens of leashed for my big dogs and small dogs. This leash is extremely light in weight and thin compared to the previous leases I have bought. It seems flimsy and poor quality however we’ve only been using it for a month. I will hope it is sturdier than it appears.
