    • Attractive fence for our needs
Ordered this fence to keep our small dog out of our vegetable garden. It will do the job and is attractive. There is a small hole on the bottom of each section so you can “link” two sections together. Unfortunately there is no way provided to attach the top of the fence sections. Would be helpful if some sort of clip came so top of the sections could be attached also. Otherwise, the fence sections flop some. We used black wire to tie them together. Works fine that way.     • Nice but metal is thin.
One out of five boxes came damaged and a few other pieces had bent stakes or were bowed. Overall I like it but I wish it was heavier duty. I might try metal posts in between panels to make it sturdier.

We have a black iron fence surrounding our back yard. The bars are 4" apart and some spaces on uneven ground, my two small dogs were able to sneak beneath it and escape. We then wired up coated black chicken wire around the whole fencing to keep them it BUT the rabbits chewed through it. So, we bought this small garden fence to place around the outside of the fence. The rabbits can't chew through it. The dogs see it as a barrier. There is no assembly needed, it is easy to push into the ground and it blends in with the iron fence. It's not intended to be strong enough to keep pets corralled on its own, but it works in this case. ... show more

My American Bulldog/Boxer would go in one part of the yard to pee and my garden to poopy. Scolding him wan't working. I saw this garden fencing and decided to give them a try. I put them around my garden and left about 2 inches between the ground and the bottom bar. The fence comes up just below his neck. First time he went to poopy in the garden, he stopped, looked at the fence, looked at the garden, back at the fence, then went elsewhere to poopy. He could jump over it easily, but he hasn't figured that out and I ain't tellin'. Since the fencing is black, airy looking, it blends in very well with the greenery of the garden and is aesthetically unobtrusive. I am very well pleased with it. There are four 3-looped panels and 4 single loop panels in each bundle. I bought a total of 40 ft. The single loop panels came in handy to make rounded corners instead of square ones. The garden is in the corner of a fenced in yard, so only 2 sides needed to be closed off. I'm very well pleased with the purchase. EDIT: My dog figured out how to jump over it. I bought taller fencing and put this at the bottom. Looks good. Others have complained about the stakes bending and have given poor review because of it. Yes, they will bend, but not if you install them right. Put the both stakes in the ground evenly by pushing both sides at the same time. If you put one side in then the other, the outer stake will bend. Another reason for bending is roots and clumps of grass. My suggestion, if this seems to be a problem, is to use a shovel to break up roots and clumping grass along the fence line. A little extra work for a nice looking fence line. ... show more

I have a 1 1/2 year old lab that loves the taste of shrubs and trees! He ate hundreds of dollars worth in a matter of months. I bought this fence with the intent to keep him at a mouth-length away and it has done a great job. It is not too tall that it becomes a focal point in the yard but accents nicely and keeps him from getting too close. Obviously, he could jump in if he really wanted to but this gives just enough deterrent so it is not worth his time! ... show more

We use this fence in front of 12 arborvitae’s. They are lined about 2ft from the sidewalk and dogs were always peeing on them. Now they cannot reach the trees. It is a great deterrent. It’s also very cute looking. They are as sturdy as you would expect. Not too sturdy but sturdy enough to stay Upright. Really like this product. Oh, and another plus is we can move it closer to the trees if needed or take it up for the winter so the plows don’t ruin it when they plow the sidewalk. ... show more
