Make sure you measure the inner diameter correctly. Then order the proper size to fit the ID. Also, be aware that you’ll need a Zigbee hub to connect to your home system. I use the Amazon system and it connected first try to my Zigbee hub. Be sure to get them fully charged before installation. I charge them on the first of the month since they are heavily used on our front doors, but they lasted for just over two months on each charge. We raise and lower our blinds by a scheduled routine on a daily basis. I’ve recommended them to a couple of my friends but I had to help them install them since they aren’t mechanically inclined and definitely not techie.

Just received and installed one unit as a test as I have five shades I plan to motorize. The product is excellent - everything the manufacturer claimed it to be. Absolutely silent and lifting a 6'w x 8'h shade. Works perfectly. Project would have take less than 20 minutes had the instructions been a reasonable translation from the original Chinese. Translation obviously written by a non-English speaker as the English is very choppy. You will probably figure out the programming instructions as I did - it will just take you three times as long as it should. Even the Youtube videos feature an American accented voice reading the poorly translated instructions verbatim. Having said all this, I just ordered four more units to motorize the rest of our shades along with a 6 channel remote to operate all the units plus a hub to allow the shades to be operated by Alexa. Great product - just too bad the manufacturer did not spend a few more dollars on an English speaking translator

The media could not be loaded. While so far I am very happy with the motorization of my blinds, however set up was not easy. If you are not a person who enjoys DYI projects, is handy and has patience this might not be for you. The item arrive on time but without installation instructions. You have to reach out to customer service for support which if fine but they seem to only send information on how to do installation of everything goes perfectly. I received a motor that was not put together and had to do that myself, support was not provided in any form. It’s not the most difficult thing to put together but it took me a couple of tries, I would have preferred instructions were provided. Every step of installation is a little challenging. There are two obstacles, 1. The motor set up installation that are provided are translated from Chinese to English and don’t make the most sense. 2. While customer service is good, it is not instant. You have to go back and forth over a significant time difference since they are based in China. So set up took me a few days instead of a few hours. All this being said, the motorization of my blinds is lovely and I took great satisfaction in getting a slightly difficult job well done. All in all. Worth it. Note: I had to reverse the direction of the motor after the first video was taken. It was very easy and I’m so pleased with the end results.

Update: I was able to re-add the motor and after the factory reset it has been working for a few weeks. If this keeps up I will once again make an update and improve the rating. This motor worked great with Zigbee for the first couple of days. Unfortunately, after that it only works with the remote. The battery is charged and it reports the battery percentage back to Zigbee it just stops responding to commands. I am lucky in the end because I moved from an older RF version to this and my plan was to replace all 10 of the motors I have with these zigbee motors. I literally had them in my cart when I realized this one was no longer working. What a bummer.

Was quoted a few thousand dollars to automate our shades... This device is legit! Pretty easy to setup and install. Pro tips: prior to installation, pair shade to app, then use the app to set direction and limits. Way easier than using the button on the shade to program. Then pair shade to remote. Then install. Enjoy and pat yourself on the back for saving so much money!!!

Headline says it all. Super easy to install, but the instructions for setting the top and bottom stops with the remote is not at all clear. I was on the verge of giving up and sending it back when I finally figured it out. Once setup, it is very nice. The motor is very quiet.

Brackets were too wide to fit my blinds.com zebra roller shade, but manufacturer/seller advised they are reworking the motor head to fit more valance/roller types. Great seller and looking forward to the updated motor head!
