    • It's an okay item
This is a pretty good combo. It's compact and actually pretty useful for my needs (drilling PCB). A couple of complaints. The drill doesn't seem to be the most true. There's a bit of wobble in the bit when drilling and only after it gets a bite does it straighten. The press is also slightly problematic, as it seems to bind up and the small handle for moving it down is practically useless. I place my hand over the top and move it down and it doesn't seem to bind that way. Also gives a little more pressure from behind the drill. ... show more

The slide action has a lot of play in it. And also has stiction. So drilling repeatable location holes won't happen. The rotary tool is okay. Its concentricity isn't perfect. A little wobbly by roughly several thousands of an inch.

I am dinging this amazing tool that could easily be given five stars IF the drill would stay charged. You have to charge it before you want to use it - every single time! WHY, when it is turned off, does it lose it's charge = poor design!

I was very excited when it arrived. Unfortunately as I was using it I noticed it doesn't track very well. You have to hold it it place to drill a hole accurately. Might as well use a hand held tool and that defeats the purpose of a drill press. I was trying to drill a small hole through 1mm Stirling silver. The drill motor doesn't have to much torque either. ... show more
