This is just what I needed for my Kraton 1/8 EXB. Before adding this, no matter what servo I put in there the bone stock non-adjustable servo saver did not allow for precise steering. Installation was tricky, but not terrible. One thing to note is this part does not come with the brass bushing for the top. You have to take it off of the stock pieces. For anyone who purchases one and the threads are loose I used a piece of cardboard and used pliers to compress the nut while off the tube. Now it is tight to turn by hand and locks down when you tighten the small retention screw. Also be very careful not to overtighten the tension screw it wont take much torque. ... show more

My Kraton 6s steering was soft. Full turn on the transmitter little turn of the tires. After replacing everything responds as it should. Went in nicely, worked with stock components. Works well. The color matches well. Good deal.

    • You can adjust it but the locking ring is useless

While this the will allow you to set the pressure of the servo saver you won't be able to lock it in as the ring when fully tightened does not apply to the shaft and will still spin freely.

    • Clamping nut does not work

When I put the clamping nut on it screwed in fine but no matter how tight I made it there was no effect at all. Finally, I tightened it too much and stripped out the threads. The entire time I was tightening the clamping screw the adjustment ring remained very loose and thus unusable since I don't want to have to fix it again when it falls off. It's really loose, I doubt Locktite would hold it. There weren't many threads for the screw and they were not strong enough to provide any clamping at all. Maybe I got a dud. ... show more
