I have Morton’s neuroma’s on both feet. Had surgery decades ago. Now having trouble with my feet because I lost my custom made orthotic inserts but when I put/ slipped my right foot into these shoes it felt like a Cinderella fit!!! I dress for comfort now days & feel like I can wear these shoes & color with my dress casual clothes & still look nice & appropriate even for church! I immediately checked to feel if I had enough room to wiggle my toes when standing & I did! I worked as a nurse for yrs & had awful foot pain back when we had to wear all white uniforms. My feet hurt me because I couldn’t find a shoe with enough padding but these shoes & style fit the requirements! The ball/ toe room is wide enough for me + the padding! Unbelievable! They were recommended to me by my physical therapist; I kept looking & debating. I finally took her advice & I’m so glad I did!! Love this color, fit & value for the money!!! My physical therapist is a runner! So all you customers who run take note of this! I needed a comfortable shoe with a zero padded heel drop & this shoe & style has good heel padding, arch support, width in the toe & padding from heel to toe!! I highly recommend this shoe!!! I’m one very happy customer!!!

I see this is a frequently returned item, but to each his own because love these shoes! I went up a half size to 9.5 from 9 and got them in wide at the advice of a podiatrist, fearing I would swim in them. Instead, my toes have room to spread which makes it feel like my feet are supported in a cushiony platform. These are the most comfortably supportive shoes I have ever owned. I didn’t realize shoes could feel this good on my feet. I hadn’t realized that when my toes didn’t have enough room they were turning my feet into stumps and I was working so much harder to walk. Some reviewsers have not liked the firm, high heel support in the back. In my past experiencewhen running shoes are high around the ankle they irritate my ankle bones, but the firmer curved heel on these Torin 8’s is very comfortable and helps my ankle stabilize. I couldn’t be happier that I bought these shoes. And I thought the pink and yellow soles would be loud in a “here come my shoes” effect, but I really like the combination, and find it cheerful and pleasing.

These are my 5th pair of Altra Torins and they didn’t disappoint. Really high quality, durable, comfortable and fit perfectly. The soles are grippy and I can walk miles every day in these. Definitely a good value.

I am slowly leaning into the barefoot shoe game, two years ago I jumped into too fast and had a year of foot pain to show for it. So, I use these Altra's for walking a few miles a day about 4 times a week, I switch off with New Balance 580's and Brooks (old Ghosts). Altra's are not as squishy as the Brooks Ghost nor as arch-supportive as the New Balance. What I love is how connected to the ground I feel with enough cushion to walk and not worry about foot pain. The wide toe box is amazing, I especially love the difference in feel for uphill walking flexibility, I feel the whole of my toes and ball of foot fully working as I push off with each step. I find these very comfortable but not squishy/cloud-like/springy, again it promotes a more grounded and secure footing feel. Personally, I like the style, they fit true to size for me and adore the blue color. Will buy again, thanks for making these.

I have super wide feet. Nothing fits right, even the xx wide New Balances. Read a review online and decided to try these on a 10 day trip to Europe. The wide toe box was amazing. I finally found something that was still comfortable after hiking around Budapest for 10 hours. Lightweight and sturdy enough for cobblestones and blacktop.

I suffered from Morton's Neuroma for years and had to get shots every six months. I have been wearing Altra shoes for five years now and haven't needed a shot since. They are designed so that your toes can spread naturally so no more pain. They are very well made and obviously comfortable.

Overall I like the shoes, but I am disappointed in quality. I liked the look, the cushion, and the wide toe box. I had been considering altras for a while for these reasons but I didn't want to spend the money. I don't might spending the money as long as I like the shoes but I wasn't sure if I would. Love the shoes but I am disappointed in the quality. I have had these for about 2 months and haven't even really worn them that much. Maybe just a few hours every other day. And they already have holes worn in the inside lining. I expected better quality and longevity from a company who charges hundreds of dollars for their shoes. Maybe customer service will reach out who knows.
