The alternator on my wifes truck went out the other day. She took it to the parts store and they checked it out and found it was only producing 11 volts. A replacement from them was $250ish. We went to a you pull it junk yard but they didnt have the one she needed so I checked Amazon and found this one. Ordered it and the next day it showed up. Exactly the same as hers and it took maybe 30 minutes to put it on. Started the truck up and the dash gauge showed it putting out 14 volts and the lights was bright.
