    • Outstanding product.
We got these for our conference rooms and they have been great! Presenters can attach a 1/4" (3mm) cable from their laptops to the speaker and the sound is loud and clear. Now that word is out that we have microphones for these, they have been used a lot. The EQ is a wonderful bonus too.

    • Why pay more for Bose?
I purchased 2 of the Altec Lancing 650 watt Soundrover Pro. I purchased the better quality stands for an extra $50 based on customer reviews. The ones that come free with the speakers can hardly hold this heavy speaker. These speakers are a steal for the price. I remember as a teen Altec Lancing were called "Voice of the Theater because they were the choice of Movie theaters. These speakers sound great ...so why pay double for Bose. They are not as good as Bose but close enough for half the price! I'm happy! ... show more

    • Be prepared to spend extra money to buy a separate corded microphone.
The wireless microphone didn’t work, had no instructions and no one at Amazon or Altec Lansing seem to have any answers. Everyone I talked to seemed to not know what they were talking about. Things like “push the mic 1 button etc. (there is no mic 1 button) The speaker is fine but sending out a wireless microphone without instructions is unacceptable. I’ve wasted approximately 2 hours on chat and phone calls with people who haven’t got a clue. ... show more
