Altec Lansing is synonymous with quality
GREAT product. It is exactly what I expected. Best sound quality, loud as I need it to be. Every Altec Lansing product I have owned is top notch quality. From the nanobuds sport, to Mini Life Jacket Jolt, to Life Jacket Jolt, the Hydra Blast series I have been satisfied with all of them. The tripod pole where the speaker will mount was oval shaped as if it has been crushed at some point. Also one of the legs was missing a bolt and nut to lock it in place. Delivery was late, but that's on Amazon. It doesn't affect the product at all.

Good for people that wants to listen just music and not care a bout sound quality
As an old listener of old audio,it sounds ok. But not as I was expecting, is hard to have the same quality from this Bluetooth speakers in comparison to 1990' stereo systems. I prefer to convert my old stereos to Bluetooth wich makes it very joyful to adjust an equlize all the sound.

Be prepared to spend extra money to buy a separate corded microphone.
The wireless microphone didn’t work, had no instructions and no one at Amazon or Altec Lansing seem to have any answers. Everyone I talked to seemed to not know what they were talking about. Things like “push the mic 1 button etc. (there is no mic 1 button) The speaker is fine but sending out a wireless microphone without instructions is unacceptable. I’ve wasted approximately 2 hours on chat and phone calls with people who haven’t got a clue.

Why pay more for Bose?
I purchased 2 of the Altec Lancing 650 watt Soundrover Pro. I purchased the better quality stands for an extra $50 based on customer reviews. The ones that come free with the speakers can hardly hold this heavy speaker. These speakers are a steal for the price. I remember as a teen Altec Lancing were called "Voice of the Theater because they were the choice of Movie theaters. These speakers sound great ...so why pay double for Bose. They are not as good as Bose but close enough for half the price! I'm happy!

sound quality was great for my wedding and has great volume for big venues.
worked perfectly for our wedding. we were worried this wouldn't be loud enough but it was very powerful. the sound quality was great for our professional singer and we frequently use it at home now for casual karaoke. it can be set up to connect multiple mics and bluetooth a laptop. great quality and not too hard to set up.
