This gardening set is almost too pretty to use. Each piece is sturdy enough to dig in the ground. I played in the flower bed for the first time since winter. The ground was hard but I had no trouble getting the soil loosened with these. My only complaint is that the handles are not coated. During the summer, they will be harder to hold because my hands will be sweaty. If these had coated handles my rating would be 5 stars. It is still a good set to own.

This is definitely a cute little gardening set. It will make a really nice gift item for mom, wife, girlfriend, etc who enjoys time working outside. Of course each of the tools is embossed in colorful pink flowers which certainly looks cute. But we all know that after some hours spent working outside, the pink color and gloss will significantly subside… and then the question will be, how long will these tools continue to work? Well, I’m fairly optimistic on this. The little spade appears quite sturdy. I’m confident that it will not continue to look as pretty as it does brand new, but it appears to be a pretty solid piece. Of course time will tell, but I am optimistic… Regardless, this would be a nice gift item for a lot of women.

I like gardening. i really do. I'm just a procrastinator in general and gardening is no different, except for the fact that gardening has a pretty strong time component to it if you want to have any measure of success. Ah well. I ordered this because I thought it was adorable and that maybe it would somehow help with my procrastination. Strangely enough, they actually do! Maybe it's the way the pattern stands out when I'm using them to dig around in the dirt, the contrast between the white background and the vibrant green leaves and then the dark earth, so pretty! They feel nice in my hands, not too big and not so small they feel puny. I love that they come in a coordinating case so I can keep them all together and tidy. Because of these, it would seem that I'll be quite busy in the garden in the coming months!

The media could not be loaded. I've always wanted one of these fancy gardening sets, but never could force myself to spend the extra money. So when the set came up I picked it, and when I got it in the mail I was absolutely pleased with the look, and the quality. It comes with an apron that attaches around your waist with a snap type buckle. It's adjustable to fit all sizes. I was a little worried It wouldn't fit because I had a baby and gained a lot of weight with this one. Being plus size it's really hard finding things that fit my waist. I also like that it's not one of those tie ones, because sometimes you tie them too tight or double knot them, and it's so hard to get them off. The colors are very vibrant and the apron is a waterproof type material. It comes with three garden tools. A hand rake, a shovel, and pruning shears. The shovel and the hand rake have a little dip in the handle where you place your thumb and dips where your fingers go. It makes it a lot more comfortable when you're using them. The pruning shears are very sharp and I've had no issue with cutting leaves to branches. I'm sure at some point they'll get dull but they can always be re-sharpened. I've been using them for almost a month now and I haven't noticed any chipping or wearing of the paint design on the tools. Would definitely make a good mother's Day gift or a birthday gift for woman in your life that really loves gardening. Overall very good quality at a very good price.
