Ive seen all the 5 star reviews and advertisements. This fragrance is advertised as a close dupe to Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum Spray. Some women swear buy this dupe saying they to have the real perfume and its very close or exact. I know smell is very subjective. I have the original, it does not even come close. Yes, we all know the original is very expensive. I got the "dupe" hoping to lightly spray sheets, lingerie chest and lazy days. After spraying the dupe has a strong smoke smell, bitter that starts to develop. The original has sort of a sweet vanilla sent very different. Now, just my personal opinion as a stand alone perfume with out expectations of it being a dupe ... it's nasty. Even if it were free I'd dislike it. And if for some reason you actually liked the smell, it doesn't last. It's very faint almost non existence within the first hour. Yes the original is very expensive, this dupe isn't cheap and a complete waste of money. Non returnable. I can not recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I just received this today. I am absolutely in love. The scent of this perfume reminds me of going out on an expensive day having expensive cocktails, and something moody and and sexy. It is definitely a unisex perfume. I could see this being extremely attractive on a man and I wore it today and my fiancé was obsessed. I feel like this is a safe bet to get anybody as a gift because it can go with so many different types of people. So far I’ve had it on for a couple hours and I still smell it. It definitely doesn’t seem to fade as quickly as others I have gotten have. It’s a very warm, sweet dark sense. I think this is a great value. It smells like it’s expensive when it’s at a fairly affordable price, especially for the size that you’re getting. It lasts just as long as other perfumes I have to so I think it’s a good purchase to make if you’re looking to grow your perfume collection or if you wanna get somebody a gift and aren’t really sure what type of scents they like. ... show more

Packaging: The outside of the box had something sticky on it. Inside of the box was a bubble pouch to prevent it from breaking. Once the perfume was out I could see that the lid was wet. It wan't twisted all the way on and some of the perfume leaked out. Scent: I've only had the baccarat dupe roller oil and it was divine. I've been trying to find it again and so I took a chance on this one. At first spray it seemed a bit too citrus-y and after sitting on my skin for a little bit it is nice, warm and sweet. It's not exactly like my roller oil because I can still get a hint of that citrus and/or alcohol but I will probably layer it and hope that it well settle in even more nicely. Cost: I should have ordered the 1oz from the ALT site instead of being impatient and getting this 2oz. If you want to try it first....go to their site and get the 1oz -- especially if people are having a hard time with returns/refunds. I'm not happy with the leaking but I will keep it. I’m usually pretty skeptical about buying fragrance dupes, but I decided to give this company a try after a friend recommended them—and I’m really glad I did. I ordered the Her Set, which comes with three of their popular scents, including their Baccarat Rouge 540 dupe. One of the bottles did arrive with a small leak, but customer service handled it quickly, so it wasn’t a big deal. Now for the scent: this is easily one of the closest BR540 dupes I’ve come across. The scent profile is on point and gives you that same luxurious vibe without having to spend an entire paycheck on a tiny designer bottle. I actually liked it so much that I went back and purchased the full-size version. The Spray effectiveness is light so don’t expect any overspray. The only thing I’d mention is the longevity—it lasts a few hours before you’ll probably want to reapply. But considering the quality and price, I still feel like it’s totally worth it. If you’ve been wanting that Baccarat Rouge smell without the luxury price tag, this is definitely one of the best options out there. ... show more

The first time I purchased this perfume I bought directly from the company. I loved it and used the entire bottle within a month. I just purchased the larger bottle through Amazon, and I agree with the other reviewers. It smells like alcohol. I don’t get the fragrance at all. Unfortunately, when you purchase through Amazon, you can’t return it. I think there’s a quality control issue because the first time I bought it I thought it was wonderful and it lasted a long time.
