    • Funky smell, even after washing
The wig head has nicely rooted hair with a realistic texture but smells a little like mothballs or something and no matter how many times I wash it, I can’t seem to get the smell to fade that much. Hoping it fades over time. Other than that, it works as advertised.

Just received my mannequin head this weekend. The hair felt coarse and came shrunk but after detangling and washing the length and feel is okay. There was a little shedding while detangling but it was not bad. Not sure if its 100% human hair but it does look and feel close enough. It fits perfect on my wig stand. So far I have no complaints. I think it will suite it purpose of practicing how to braid. I have to keep her away from my dog though, she keeps trying to jump and lick her face lol ... show more

Great to get familiar with curly hair and practice braiding and some natural styling. Definitely has a chemical smell that only gets further exasperated when using heat. Washes fine, very dense, stopped severely shedding after two washes and a few rounds of brushing. I don’t recommend attempting to use this head to get familiar with smoothing, however. Using a straightener on it produced a pretty awful and concerning smell, and getting it truly smooth with an iron at 400° has resulted in the hair losing all of the curl it once had, even after washing and air drying. I have a hard time believing it isn’t mostly (if not, all) synthetic. ... show more

I have done braids on this head piece. It holds extension well. So life like. This one of the best head piece to use when you are doing hair styles.
