Description

In 1963, a leather craftsman by the name of Sante Mazzarolo brought forth a future icon. Based in the small Northern Italy town of Asolo and with the perennial Alpine star flower as its namesake, Mr. Mazzarolo began producing the first products bearing the Alpinestars moniker. At that time a new sport called motocross was establishing itself and becoming quite popular across Europe. Very much aware of the sport, Sante realized an opportunity to apply his talents and technical acumen to design a new type of footwear that would meet the protective needs and demands of this beautiful yet brutal form of athleticism. The revolutionary boot that Mr. Mazzarolo produced would become an archetype for motocross protection.

Great glove, pretty much my do everything glove and they don’t let me down. I’m pretty hard on my gloves and these are the only ones that seem to hold up. I’m anticipating these will easily last hard sport bike riding for at least 75k miles before needing replacement. The only complaint is that the touch screen material isn’t the best, i mean it works but not as good as some others from this company. But comfortable, fit, finish durability 10/10 ... show more

The build quality of the gloves is excellent. The kangaroo leather palm and cushioning is premium. The velcro fastners securely hold the gloves onto the hands. The knuckle protection floats above the knuckles and is made of hard plastic materials. The stitching is well done and shouldn't tear in an accident. The gloves out of the box were snug, but not too tight. I'm using these gloves in hot, humid weather, but they don't feel stifling. They are warm and I do sweat with them on, but it seems to aid in breaking them in. The value for the price is good, I feel good about using these gloves for the protection of my hands. ... show more

Very good gauntlet gloves. Definitely have a break in period with these to make them more comfortable but that’s to be expected with leather.

The gloves are awesome! Good look, goos coverage/protection passed the wrists, and good styling. Exactly what I wanted. It's just a bit tight at the webbing between my middle and ring fingers. Kinda giving my fingers a glove wedgie.. but I'm hoping they'll get more worn in soon. Might get a size up to confirm but I don't want it too loose. So far, so good! Alpinestars never let's me down. May even be good for the cold weather coming up as they seem like they have some warmth to em and pretty good comfort! (Aside from the finger crotch feeling tight n all that is) ... show more
