Designed using Alpinestars Drystar construction, the Andes v3 Pant offers 100% waterproofing and high levels of breathability. With added protec-tion in strategic areas, these pants can adapt to all weather conditions and are fully compatible with the Andes Drystar Jacket. Constructed with an advanced reinforced polyfabric textile for durability and Alpinestars exclusive Drystar membrane for 100 per cent waterproof performance in wet weather conditions. Removable long thermal liner allows the pants to be adapted to suit the weather conditions. Efficient direct ventilation ports strategically positioned on thighs for high levels of airflow. Pre-contoured leg construction with knee stretch panels insert for optimum riding comfort. Tapered touring fit for enhanced comfort when riding. Interior hip pad compartments. (Bio-Flex inserts available as an accessory upgrade). Removable and positional-adjustable knee protectors ensure superior protection against impacts. Reinforced polymer-printed texturing in critical knee areas for added abrasion resistance. Integrated reflective details. Adjustment waist system features buckle and stretch material for an optimized fit. Zippered air intakes for effective internal temperature control. Cargo-style pockets for real-world practicality. Adjustable, removable bib braces for an improved comfort fit while also ensuring the pants remain in position. According to European statutory law the CE mark is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply to this product: CE Category II PPE Regulation prEN17092 – A class. Do your research and confirm your size before ordering. I did just that, and ended up with a well fitting pair of pants. I’m 6ft1ish and around 220lbs. I went with the 4xl. I’m able to fit a pair of jeans in while the liner is installed with a snug but still adjustable fit. The length could be concerning if you are shorter. Normally I wear an XL in most athletic gear/other gear brands. I originally ordered the size 2XL from Revzilla since I was already ordering some boots. Ended up sending those back, tried the 3XL from Amazon. Still too small in the waist. Went with the 4XL from Amazon, which is the largest size they make I believe. These worked for me, although I do like a little bit of room in my touring pants. There's just enough room to fit a pair of jeans+/athletic pants underneath. I bought these to pair with my 2XL Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar textile riding jacket. They work well together, and the zipper at the back of both pieces allows zipping them together if you like that; I usually don't, as it's just a hassle every time I get on/off my sportbike. The rain and cold protection is absolutely phenomenal! The coldest temps I've seen this winter have been in the 25-30 degree Fahrenheit range, and I didn't get the least bit cold, and the times I've been out in a downpour or drizzle the Drystar membrane kept me completely dry. If you're like me, and you don't want to deal with trying to get heated gear and then rewiring your bike to support it, just get this suit. It's the real deal. A couple of points to note: the armor is built in, so don't buy these expecting to swap to something more robust. Also, these pants do bunch up a little in the standing position, although if you've ever worn track gear/touring suits before you'll know this is normal, as they're designed for the seated position. ... show more

I'd like to write a review on these, but I can't. 4XL is the largest size Alpine Stars makes. The chart says that should fit up to a 48 inch waist. That is just a complete lie. I wear a size 40 and couldn't get the pants up, so these will be making a quick return.

I can't believe I had to order the 4XL when I am a 36x32 in pants at 250lbs and 5'11. The jacket was the same story...I ended up buying a 2XL jacket of the same brand when I am typically XL for jackets and shirts. Please measure yourself if you do not want to deal with returns and reordering. This brand certainly comes very small for American standards IMHO. The quality is great, kind of heavy with the inner layer but a true 4 seasons jacket and pants. GO for it!!! Safe riding. ... show more

I bought a size large based on the recommendations and sizing chart, and when they arrived I could have swore I bought a size XS. I couldn't even slide them up my legs. Now I'm 6' and 195lbs, so I'm not large and you can tell I missed a few leg days at the gym, so them not going up says a lot. I found a store near me that surprisingly sells the same pants but not the color I wanted, so I tried on the sizes they have available and spoke with workers there about it. Sizing is going to be dependent on whether you are wearing them as pants or wearing them over pants. I wear a large normally, but XL even barely fit over jeans...Now as pants alone, it would have been perfect, but I'm looking for a layer, not as is. So I had to order 2XL. So "recommendation" is for as-is wearing, one size up from your normal, for extra layer (over clothing), looking at TWO sizes up. So if you're L, go 2XL to go over jeans. Otherwise, they are nice looking and do have suspenders that help keep them up, which I didn't find on many others I was looking at. ... show more
