My 2013 F150 had the factory HID lights. I was worried about the conversion to halogen. Although there were no instructions included in either of the headlight boxes (left or right), a quick YouTube search found someone installing these same lights on a similar vehicle. The description stated no splicing required. Thankfully they were incredibly accurate!!! The wiring harness is a plug and play. It would have been nice to have had some form of instructions as to what the two wiring harness were for. You will only use one based on if your vehicle has daytime running lights (DRL). The media could not be loaded. Just installed, will come back and edit if they crap out. Installed on 2011 raptor. I ordered the pro, as I liked the black coloration best. Install was mostly easy. I installed without using the additional wiring to the battery. Only used the stock plugs. I had to smash the metal guide prongs a bit to get them to seat all the way back. Did not have to transfer any bulbs. Plug and play and look great. *edit* No DRL with just plug and play. Have to turn headlights on manually to have the led bar on without the extra cables. They only show white. The bottom indicators blink in sequence for the blinkers. Right now happy with the value and looks. Was considering Morimoto but decided to give these a try. ... show more

First, buyer beware!! This is shipped by Modify Street with absolutely no installation instructions. I then tried their web site and was greeted with blank pages. I then thought to try AlphaRex where I finally found almost complete installation instructions. The issue here is there are 2 gray wires coming out of these units. The one is ok as it goes to the fuse box to make the outside "ring" become an automatic driving light. But the second one ends with a plug terminal and nothing tells you what to do with it. I emailed AlphaRex twice, getting no reply from a supposedly top ranked service team. On top of this, there is no clear tabs for bulb alignment and the bulb retaining springs are a joke as the bend rather than holding their shape. I like how they look, installing them was pretty easy once you looked up the directions on their website. Body clips kept breaking going in, and even then mine have never been flush. High beams went out on 1 side, and they shipped a replacement quickly for me. One thing I don't like is the bulbs are pretty dim. Even with LED H7 bulbs, they're still fairly dim unless you get the ones with the integrated fans. However, those will not fit in the housing on these headlights so you gotta accept it. ... show more

These lights look great and the functionality of the LED for the PRO series is cool but i'm not sure the money is worth the hastle of having proprietary LED integrated lighting. I'm an ex Pro Auto Mechanic so for me it was an easy install. tucking wiring and cable ties are a must but there is enough wiring to complete the install without adding. A fuse is a must, just keep that in mind when looking for any aftermarket electrical parts. The brightness at dark is good but when the lights are on bright there isn't much of a noticeable difference until you look way down the road at reflective items. As with any the bad comes with the good and for these it seems to be wiring for this issue. A socket which comes with the light assy on the Right side and plugs between the original park/turn lamp and the new park/turn lamp (led) and original (incandescent). The incandescent bulb was out and that may have caused the rapid flash by it's self. I found the correct problem was in the socket and after tried to reset the controller by total disconnect from battery grounds. wait about 30 seconds and then reconnect the negative leads. No help there so I guess the socket is to be replaced which unfortunately should mean 1 of 2 things. 1. Either they send me the tools and parts to repair the socket or 2. They send me an entire setup again and I have to redo the entire install. Either way it's a hassle and I'm not looking forward to either. UPDATE : BOTH LIGHTS HAVE SOME SORT OF LEAK AND ARE COLLECTING WATER. I'VE PUT IN DESSICANT BAGS ON STRINGS TO TRY AND ELIMINATE IT BUT SINCE WATER WAS INSIDE MY FRONT LENS COVER IT STAINED THE COVER WHEN i took out the lights to put in the DESSICANT bags. Now my gorgeous lights look horrible. Really hoping the warranty will be sending a pair over. I love the lights and don't want to change what i have but these gotta go. ... show more

    • Really WANTED to like these
I've had these for almost 3 months. Replaced OEM headlight housings on 2009 Lariat that were delaminating. Had upgraded those bulbs to LED. Install was mostly easy (the snaps that go into the frame need modified;) I like the look of these a lot; and I do like the full function LED light tubes for turn signals. That's about where my satisfaction with these ends. First, the halogen bulbs that come with these are hot garbage. Zilch for light output. Therefore, upgraded to H7 leds. Low beams not too bad but light output still below what I was getting on OEM with LEDs. So upgraded LED bulbs again. Much better output and now happy with low beams. High beams are another issue. The light output - no matter what bulb is installed - is just weird. Pattern is like a spotlight with hotspots. No lateral output whatsoever. Rotated LED bulbs from 3/9, to 6/12, to 1:30/7:30. Just a complete disappointment. Finally attempted HID kit (which required modification of back dust cover) and while output on high beams was best of the lot, still a spotlight effect and still hotspots in light output. Not going back to OEM because these still look better but their function leaves a lot to be desired. Would not buy again. ... show more
