The ALOCANE® dispenser is the perfect solution to workplaces with exposure to high heat, hot objects, and higher incidences of burns. ALOCANE® Emergency Burn Gel is a water-based formula with an efficient, proprietary transfer vehicle that quickly absorbs deep into the layers of skin. ALOCANE® relieves pain by the use of 4% Lidocaine Hydrochloride. Four percent is the maximum percentage of Lidocaine Hydrochloride topical anesthetic allowed by the US FDA (United States Food & Drug Administration) for use in OTC (Over-The-Counter) products. Apply ALOCANE® Emergency Burn Gel generously to the burned area. Repeat application of ALOCANE® as often as necessary (no more than four times daily) to further extinguish pain and lessen the overall damage done. The ALOCANE® Commercial Solutions Emergency Burn Gel Maximum Strength 4% Lidocaine Individual Use Packets are for professional and commercial use only and is not intended for sales to individual household consumers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I burned my upper body with hot soup right off stove. As I was without a doctor at the time (A license problem), I basically provided 2nd degree burns care myself to breast, stomach, and leg. I would not have survived those first weeks and into months without these. Even though I did develop infections that I used emergency care for several times, all agreed that ALOCANE® Emergency Burn Gel Maximum Strength should be continued during my healing process. I would apply liberally at night and leave my burns uncovered to help the healing process. During the day I had to cover with loose garments, but ALOCANE applied to burns with a non-stick gauze got me through it. Bought these to help with relief for minor burns in the kitchen and shop. We've used several so far and they work well. The packets tear open easily and the gel spreads nicely. The aloe gel cools the skin immediately then eventually dries into a thin coating to protect the skin from further damage. The 4% lidocaine in the gel, which helps with pain relief, is more than most other burn gels I've used in the past . Not meant for large burns as each packet only contain 1/8 oz of gel, but you could certainly use multiple packets for sunburns or for more serious burns before heading out to the hospital. I keep these in first aid kits in the kitchen, shop, and the car for easy access. I'll definitely buy more when these get low. I found this stuff some years ago when my son who was about 5 at the time, fell near a fire camping. He did not fall in but put his hands on a rock near the fire that was very hot. He was screaming and screaming. The closest store was 45 mins away and i literally bought one of every burn product they had. We tried them all but this one hands down (no pun intended) was the best. He was to sleep and 100% the next day. I sort of doubted that it could work that good but then my boyfriend burned his hand really bad with steam. He tried EVERYTHING and for weeks there was no relief and it looked infected and terrible. I bought some of this gel and put it on his hand after cleaning the area and it was Instant relief. We now keep it EVERYWHERE. The cars, go bags, the camping trailer, the house...It is the best. For how bad his burn was it really really looks good now. ... show more

I have used this product for a while and love it. When it came time to do travel kits for cars and outdoors I really wanted one that was aloe with lidocaine. This is the only one I was able to find. I with they would spend a little less on fancy packages and share the savings with the customer. Otherwise, I think it is spot on. ... show more

I used this product on a dry skin split in the tip of my finger that felt like a razor under my fingernail. It reduced the pain to a slight throb when no pressure was applied. Works better than I expected.
