The reformulated hypoallergenic Almay Clear Complexion Makeup for sensitive skin does not just cover and fight acne, it supports skin health too. Ideal for acne prone skin types, oily skin, and combination skin, the creamy multitasking foundation with medium, buildable coverage helps treat acne breakouts, hides imperfections, and leaves skin with a flawless, soft matte finish that lasts all day—no caking up. The difference is that now, the non comedogenic (won’t clog pores!) liquid acne foundation is powered by a skin balancing formula of 1% salicylic acid, prebiotics, and aloe vera for skin that looks clarified, healthier, and calm. The amount of salicylic acid—the magic acne fighting ingredient—was reduced to treat and help prevent future breakouts without drying out skin. Added prebiotics nourish a healthy skin barrier for a well balanced complexion. Aloe vera was also introduced into the mix for its hydrating properties, which help soothe and calm signs of irritation. I read a review that indicated this was a good product. I’ve used Almay products for years, but I like this liquid cream color for my skin which minimize the acne scars. I’m a mature adult who likes to use very little makeup, so I did follow a review and purchased the Cover Girl clean, invisible, loose powder and combining that with the Almay liquid makeup, it makes my skin look as good as it’s going to get. No greasy or heavy feeling and the dual products minimize my pores. I use a damp paper towel to and tap over the foundation and powder to set the makeup on my face. It doesn’t rub off and last all day, not settling in my wrinkles. No breakouts either. I’d recommend to anyone with mature skin. ... show more

This product was amazing. It was what I was hoping to start using long term but their shade range is disappointingly short. I tried 200, too dark. I tried 099, way too light. Either too brown or too pink, no in between. If they make more shades, I’d purchase again to try.

This is my absolute favorite foundation! This product is so underrated and I don’t get why people aren’t talking about this product?! It’s the MOST smooth finish, doesn’t bother my eyes (I was concerned since aloe and salicylic acid) it gives me such a skin like finish while covering my redness. I would say it’s medium coverage but can absolutely be built up to full! I hope Almay will always continue to make this product because I will forever buy it! ... show more

I've never ever worn a foundation that turns me so bright orange, and it happens quickly. It took me a couple of weeks to figure out it was this foundation and it was oxidizing on my skin. I thought maybe the light was different or it was my powder. I bought this in the lightest shade and by mid-morning I'd be trying to wipe it off. It got darker orange all day. I look like a fool in pictures taken during that time. I had not heard of oxidation of makeup turning it orange until I was googling what the heck was going on. I felt like I looked like an absent-minded grandmother that didn't know she looked ridiculous in the wrong color makeup. I am returning this and will no longer feel like the emperor that wears no clothes! DONE! ... show more

Finally a foundation that doesn’t break me out! I have oily skin and I break out easy. This stuff works well for me. It matches my skin tone relatively well but I don’t expect much from it, my skin is really light.

So the product itself has always worked for my skin. However I’ve ordered before in the same exact bottle my shade ( 099 Porcelain) and as you can see in my side by side photos they have changed the colors but kept the names. Im a very fair skinned person so this type of change is very noticeable and gave me an orange tone. I’m pretty disappointed in my order as I needed and expected the same product.
