This men's scent is very sweet and smells slightly spicy and very warm. It's a bit like a freshly baked cinnamon bun or raisin bread. The sweetness and warm creaminess almost makes it suitable for a woman, if there weren't already a women's version of Allure. The scent lasts all day in typical Chanel style. Good for year-round usage, but I like to use it in the fall and on summer evenings. Very likable, but not a masterpiece.

I'd never been much of an aftershave wearer unless it was a special occasion. That was until I tried this scent. The scent is fresh, slightly woody, and subtle. I can't tell you the amount of times I've had comments about how good this smells, from people both young and old. It is a great confidence boost to be told "mmmm, you smell great". Whilst strangers dont approach me in the street to tell me how good it smells, I do get compliments from friends, coworkers, and the like. It is not going to change your life, make you more popular with the ladies, or create world peace. It will make you feel and smell great. Chanel nailed the name, it really is alluring. I'm what you would call a manly man, but I wear this everyday. I never thought I'd be a guy that raved so much about a scent...

I bought my wife the Chanel Allure Sensual collection for her birthday and we both loved it. She has a nice collection of Chanel and I never really thought that Chanel would make a mans fragrance that would be masculine for my taste, man was I wrong. In my small collection I have a few of (what I consider as)the the better colognes and after shaves. I usually buy both the cologne and aftershave if I like the cologne, and then add the other parts of the collection shortly afterward. In this case I was sent a 1.5oz sample of the Cologne was immediately impressed but thought there might be something wrong with me, so I asked my wife how she felt about it. She was very pleased with the scent so I bought a small bottle. After getting passed the Chanel name this has become one of my favorites, and I went on to buy the larger bottle of Cologne a 3.4 0z bottle of after shave the deodorant and the men's shower gel. Again this is currently one of my top picks, and there will be a place in my collection for the foreseeable future. I know has their own tastes and that they very. So get a hold of a sample or small bottle and I think you'll be impressed...

Serves it's name right, Chanel Allure is one of those fragrances which will definitely become a classic if it'll still stay on shelves in the next 20-30 years. Highly reccomended very masculine very "alluring" very nice scent indeed!!
