I purchased the Allstate 3 year indoor furniture accident protection plan when I ordered my dining room furniture. While trying to assemble the chairs, I discover that parts are missing. I contact the insurance to have the set replaced. After opening a claim, I was told that the manufacturer had to be contacted to make it right. That is not what the ad says when purchasing the furniture. It states that they offer the protection from day one. I would like my money back on the insurance if the insurance isn't usuable until the manufacturer warranty expires. ... show more

What is the point of this in the first year if you won't cover damages in theory that are covered by 'warranty'? The chair I ordered doesn't have a warranty apparently. So now what? Do I wait till the warranty is over then file for a new chair, or do I lie and say it is accidental or damaged form another source, instead of mechanical failure? ... show more
