I use this pack for everything. I actually have 2. I’ve been in the military and used different packs all over the world for different situations and as a day pack this is my first choice. Period. I primarily actually use this pack for fishing. The best aspects of this pack are the hard structured bottom which makes loading and finding items a breeze. And the two different zipper entrances to the main compartment allow you to access the pack vertically or horizontally. Genius. The only changes I would make is create a higher contrast interior to locate items in low light conditions, like an orange interior, and make one specifically for fishing with interior sorting that can manage hooks better. Also adding a hole in the shoulder for a hydration system would be handy. Those aren’t complaints though this is the best pack I’ve ever owned. ... show more

The backpack is nice. Well distributed weight! Feels strong ! But leaves a bit for desire. The side pouches are so small it makes stuffing them and the antler pouches useless. Once anything is in the little hidden antler pouch you are not getting much in the zipper pouch but a pack of gum! The front drops like mad! Work station?
