Installed the Alla LED fog light bulbs on a 2005 Porsche Boxster S Model 987. I replaced the factory original front fog light bulbs with Alla Lighting 5200 lumen (2600 per bulb) AL-R H8 Extreme Super Bright 6K color, xenon white. There were no code errors on dash display, so I did not need load resistors. Much brighter and color is more blue than the stock bulbs. They look great. Installation was finicky due to Porsche design and the fact that the Alla lamp base is larger than the original. To install: Remove two screws under plastic light fixture, then fiddle with fixture until it pops out of bumper. Remove electrical plug from old bulb (squeeze both tabs simultaneously, then pull plug.) Twist and remove old bulb. If the old red rubber o-ring is still in the fixture plug hole, then remove it - the Alla bulb has a new red o-ring already in place. Insert and twist lock the new Alla bulb, then loosen the lamp base with tiny provided Allen wrench. You can now rotate the flat tab that contains the two LED chips. Look inside the light fixture - if you orient the tab so one LED is on top, the other on bottom, then you cannot fit the light fixture back into the car. So instead orient the tab so the two LED chips point to the left and right. This is important: also choose the orientation where the plug and wires will face up towards the underside of the front hood - if they face horizontal, the fixture will not fit. Now lock the LED tab in place by tightening Allen screw. Reinstall plug on lamp base. This is a good time to turn the car on and make sure the new bulb is working. Now the next finicky step: To slide the light fixture back into the car, you must do it this way: A black plastic cylinder sticks out behind the fixture, sort of in the middle. Rest that plastic cylinder on the end of the horizontal guide rail in the car bumper opening. Note the little tab on the back of the flat outside tongue of the fixture - it is supposed to mate with a small hole on the bumper. Now gently slide the light fixture along the guide rail and up into the bumper opening, making sure the little tab eventually mates with the hole in the bumper. (If you do not use the guide rail as instructed above, I guaranty the fixture won’t fit properly.) The two screw tabs underneath the light fixture should now be lined up with the matching screw tabs in the bumper opening. Make sure the light fixture is in the correct position, then reinstall and tighten the screws. Test light again. Hopefully success is yours!

I love these lights! I installed them on my 2014 Chevrolet Equinox to replace the Fog Lights, which were standard halogen H11 units. These new LED lights fit right in, connected easily, and there in NO flickering! The light output is way brighter and better than my old halogens! I can see much better down the road and I have the confidence to know I will see any obstacles further away and have more time to react. When I switch them on, they instantly illuminate and there is no warm up time need, they are instant on! In the pictures you can see in the first picture I showed a comparison of the left side LED and the right Halogen. 2nd Picture is a closer image of the LED fog light. 3rd Picture is a closer image of the Halogen for comparison. 4th picture is both LED's installed and illuminated during the day. 5th picture is a view of the road at night from inside the car with the fog lights illuminated. Last picture is a frontal view of the Lights illuminated at night, note the difference in comparison with my Halogen headlights, I'll be trying to do those next! Alla Lighting made a prefect direct fit replacement fog light for my vehicle and you can see by the images that it makes a world of difference! Awesome and I definitely recommend the upgrade!

Great lights, purchase these Alla 5200lm AL-R H8 for my 2014 Audi A5 Quattro to replace the factory fog lights, no modification needed it was quick and easy from the front and did not need the power adapter, my Audi came with factory led headlights. The lights are very bright. Note, some Audi A5's 2013 and up may require a voltage adapter if your car is not equipped with led headlights, and other mfg of fog lights are longer a require cutting out behind the fog light assembly, but these Alla do not need to modify for fit. And let me say tech support is excellent, friendly and willing to help, thank you guys at Alla. I highly recommend these lights and Alla.

This review is for the 6000k l.e.d. fog lights.. very easy to install just plug and play.. brightness is fairly bright.. only problem is one of the sockets broke right before i can install it.. still works fine but waiting on replacement.. will give updated review on longevity or if anything changes. Update: so i reordered these fog lights and put them on its been about 1 year and 2 months and still working fine and they look good for the price. Ill be bumping up my rating to 4 stars.

Works as intended. I asked around other Alla similar products about if it would fit my 2020 Rav4 and I either got answers "no it will not fit", or "yes, but it won't lock in". I was a bit skeptical on this one even though Amazon says it will fit my car since the stock halogen fog light bulbs are H16. In any case if it didn't, return for refund, simple! Installing was more work than it was. The passenger side plug was harder to unplug for some odd reason but I think it could have been the wiring, but who knows. Driver side was smooth and the finish product was perfect. No more heat blasting through the lens of my fog lights and wow it's bright. When I had ordered these I thought they were 3000k or yellowish, but it wasn't. And honestly I love the look of it even though it's 6000k. I have Lamin-x yellow 3M tint on my fog lights anyways and it looks great at night. Straight up JDM some would say. Anyways in case anyone has a 2020 Rav4, it fits!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These replace the same Alla lights I bought over 5 years ago. One stopped working but they have been fantastic over that time. The position of the element can be adjusted in the housing to give optimum coverage.

WOW! I think I watched about every youtube video I could find to make sure I would be replacing the original halogen with an LED that would really make a difference. First of all, there were videos that stated to remove the rock guards near fog lights but it wasn't necessary. I just needed to get down and reach in to replace the units. The difference just from replacing one side and comparing each other was NIGHT & DAY! Then the first time I drove at night, especially down a road without street lights, the difference in brightness and coverage was amazing. These ALLA fog lights really lit up the night and made a clear path of vision. I would recommend these to anyone that is looking to upgrade! Great product Alla and great job Amazon for delivering so quickly.

I have had these fog lamps in my 2018 Honda fit for several years now. They have worked flawlessly and they are very bright and produce a wide pattern. I hardly ever use my high beams because they project light across the entire roadway and shoulder making it easier to see animals on the side of the road at night as well as being able to see road conditions more clearly. I'm amazed at a product in this price point that has worked so well for so long now.
