Front turn signals on a 2010 Ford F-150. The dim mode (parking lights) isn't much brighter than the halogen bulbs, which is fine, but the bright mode (turn signal) is _considerably_ brighter. Installed just like the OEM bulbs, and didn't even need a resistor to prevent hyperflashing.

Just as bright compared to the incandescent bulbs. Most LEDs look brighter in the dark, don't fall for those pictures, not many are just as visible in direct sunlight, these are just as good. Plus less energy draw and less chance of a burnout. Good job! Need to order more for my other vehicles. Update, if left on for too long or used with other lights on the vehicle..... These will "HYPER BLINK" on Ford's, it's not fast, it's just random as the computer tries to understand what is going on. Everything is reset and fine after a restart it the vehicle, it takes a while to happen each trip. This is fixable if you have the BCM Body Control Module updated for front LEDs (the rear is LED stock). This can be done by a really smart Ford mechanic with their software update, or with Forscan software tool. UPDATE 2! I didn't have to do any work, after a week of driving, the BCM Body Control Module in my 2013 Ford has "learned" or updated on its own. It no longer does the hyper blink. It's now locked into a steady pattern. Not sure if the hyper blink would return if I changed the battery, but I'm not going to fix anything that's not broke! ... show more

    • the KEY on the blade is NOT as shown in the image!
Look carefully at the plastic "blade" that slides into the socket on your car. Look at the side of the blade, and notice the little tab that sticks out. This is a "key" that (theoretically) only lets the bulb be installed one way, and not reversed. In this case, notice how the little key tab is about 1/3 the width of the blade. This is correct, and is how it should be, and is how a standard brand name factory incandescent bulb looks. THese bulbs however, the tab is 2/3 the width of the blade, which prevents the bulb from being inserted. So... just beware, you may find that these bulbs are either poorly made, incorrectly advertised as some weird key, or are just very poorly manufactured. Either way, check on that when you buy them and make sure the key is correctly shaped before you try to install the bulb. ... show more

These are very bright- so bright I can drive in my driveway at night and still see (long driveway in the country). I had no problems with them and had a resistor in place for the low voltage error. The other day I was driving on a country road with my bright lights on when the amber light surged brighter to the point I could see them within the white LED beam. Then they burned out. I reordered them because I like them but I’ll be very cautious with them this time around. ... show more

    • Not very bright if using for DRL (daytime running lights).
On some vehicles these bulbs are used for DRL (daytime running lights). This bulb was not bright at all when compared to other bulbs I've used in the past. Led bulbs are supposed to last 30,000 to 50,000 hours according to most manufactures but from my experience you'll get around a year of use before one stops working if using for DRL. I use led because they are definitely brighter than halogen but with this bulb I'm not so sure. ... show more

    • Fancy design falls short of the actual brightness
A decent bulb, nice to have forward emitters, but overall the light output is middle of the pack for these bulbs. You can't go wrong, but you can do better. Hyperflash is alive and well with these, also.

These LED bulbs are very dim and unimpressive. The original halogen bulbs were 3X’s as bright. Complete waste of time and money. Shipping was also extraordinarily slow. Not Prime Delivery as advertised. Save your money and find a better bulb.
