    • Perfect for my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 high mount brake light. Strobe feature is nice safety touch.
The fit in my OEM high mount, 3rd brake light was fine. It's fairly close to the plastic lens but I expect it to be okay as LED's run cool and the brake light is only on intermittently. The strobe feature lasts for about 3-4 quick flashes at the beginning of the braking cycle and then the light is steady. I believe the flashing is attention getting and needed in this day of totally distracted drivers. Now, we'll see how long it lasts considering the LED bulb industry has a tendency to greatly overstate life expectancy in my opinion. Simple install, I really like it. No issues at all with CANbus errors but I didn't expect one because it's my understanding that the 3rd brake light in my RAM is not monitored by CANbus system. Oh, while the Amazon "fit confirmation" tool says NO it did fit my 2004 RAM. ... show more

Works as expected in the high mount center brake light of a 2008 Pontiac vibe. Strobes briefly when the brakes are applied then stays on constantly. I would recommend this product as the initial quality is better than expected for this type of product that is mass produced over seas. A real nice look on my GLK Mercedes . As you put car in reverse it strobe 3 times with bright light making it easier for someone to know that you are backing up . Very easy install . Just plug & play . No error code .Works flawlessly. With this car the harder job is that you have to take out the whole light fixture . It’s held on by three Bolts . Once you remove it you unplug the Harness . Let me point out . With this Car once you remove the Rear Light Fixture all the other Lights are sealed as they are already LEDs . The only one that is not an LED is the reverse one which is at the bottom and the only one exposed . Good company ALLA that makes the best strobing LEDs . ... show more
