My youngest kids 6&7 both have one. Works great and has tons of apps you can download. They can also watch their favorite amazon prime cartoons on it. And you can set parental controls, and approve or deny any app before it's installed

The media could not be loaded. This tablet is amazing for kids, it has so many games with amazon kids games, comes with a subscription for one free year, then $2.99 every month if you decided to keep the subscription active after the free one year. You can download, YouTube(not YouTube kids), Disney plus, roblox, Netflix and many more. We charge the tablet full battery and it will last the whole day even when kids play it most of the day. You can completely block your kids from searching the web on the table, or you can even add just the specific websites that you want to allow. Comes with the case for the tablet as shown in the picture. (Doesn’t come with no headphones any other extras) The only thing about this tablet is that, only works with WiFi, can’t active it to any carrier to use it outside WiFi. They should come out with one that can be actived for SIM card/ provider activation. ( or here you go amazon, make your own service to we’re we can pay y’all to have WiFi anywhere for the kids tablet) something else that needs to be fix on this tablet is the fact that the lowest volume setting is still pretty loud so when my daughter is using her tablet and her dad is asleep when we lower the volume to the lowest setting it’s still loud enough compare to a cell phone low volume settings. Other then that this tablet gets 9.5/10 I do recommend you buy it if your kids just won’t stay away from your phone.

The media could not be loaded. *Update for positive exchange experience* :) In order to have a smooth exchange you need to speak to a live representative. You will not be able to perform an exchange on your own through the return options or a bot. The rep that helped me was very nice and instructed me that I would receive my sons tablet this Friday and I have up to 30 days to return the damaged one. There was no hassle and a warranty that is for the first 2 years on this product, I mean you can't beat that! My son is very happy, and I am grateful. This tablet is spot on what I was looking for. Has lots of educational apps and fun apps to play my son's favorite is the farm all and the cookie cutter word app. He just turned 4 and honestly, I was the parent reviewing and looking at so many videos and reviews on which one to get and would it be easy to use. So, if you are still debating what tablet to get, I would say this one, it has the best of so when my son is older, I can switch it over to a new profile based on his age. He has all the benefits of the Amazon Kids and lots of endless books free games and parent access and monitoring it's great!

I bought two of the new age 3-7 tablets for our boys to learn on. Our 5 year old is at level 5 on ABCMouse and our 3 year old is just starting level 1 on the new tablet. To our concern, ABCMouse did not initially show up as being compatible with these new tablets. Keep in mind, these tablets were just put on sale on the 26th (3 days ago) so I figured there might be some issues to be worked out as with being an early adopter of any new device. I had a pleasant chat with one of the support people and tried the quick fixes that they suggested, but none of those worked. We finally created a support ticket to see if they could address the fact that the application was showing up as being incompatible with our devices when I viewed it on my laptop. This morning I woke up and saw that ABCMouse was on the home screen of our devices. We installed it and logged in to our account so that the boys will have access to their pre-K learning. We are taking the weekend to familiarize ourselves with the Parents interface before giving the tablets to the boys, but so far everything looks good! Thank you to the support staff and service technicians who added these new tablets to the compatible list for ABCMouse! The battery life and responsiveness of the touchscreen on these tablets is a noticeable improvement over the 7 inch fire kids tablet we had before this. The quality of the hardware and the responsiveness of the support staff make it hard for me to want to shop around for anything else.

Kid had the previous gen tablet, which finally quit after 3 well-used years. The newer generation has mostly the same specs as the previous, but it has 1GB more RAM, newer Bluetooth, higher resolution rear camera, and the screen has different dimensions (though the screen is still the same size, just different ratio). This generation tablet feels lighter than the previous, and feels more compact owing the the more squared screen size. Since the SOC is the same, I was surprised by how much faster the extra RAM makes it. Load times for apps are noticeable shorter, and the whole experience is smoothed. My son likes making videos, and appreciates the bump in camera quality. Overall this is a well refined device and does it's job extremely well. The Kids+ subscription and parental controls are top notch, and it's nice having the 2 year warranty again.
