I love the sync module XR. It let's me record clips of events that trigger without needing a subscription. The footage i get from the blink mini 2's i have in the apartment looks great and every person in it is detailed and recognizable, but the video from the Outdoor 4 is not that good. It has a fisheye effect ish... It is nothing like the blink minis. The video from the doorbells is clear and neat, you can identify the people clearly in it and the audio is clear. If the outdoor 4 had good video quality i would have given this bundle a perfect 5 stars because of the Sync Module Xr functionality which is perfect for my use case. I mean seriously a subscription on everything has gotten annoying and out of hand with the greediness of companies.

XR Module will not stay connected to the WiFi. Followed every single troubleshooting recommendation from Blink AND our internet provider. Nothing works to keep this dang thing connected.

While I've enjoyed my Blink system for years and still do, I should put a notice out there for anyone that purchases an Outdoor 4 bundle as I have. If you find your brand NEW Outdoor 4 camera causing the issues shown in my images from the Blink app, it basically means the DSN is no good. As in, it doesn't exist within Blink's own system. Thus requiring you to fully return the WHOLE bundle for a return payment. Trust me, hours fiddling, then hours on the phone, first with Blink, who eventually put their palms up and directed me back to Amazon for help(?). My problem with this is the door bell takes three weeks to ship! Otherwise I wouldn't complain about having to deactivate and return the whole bundle and repurchase. Not to mention I've already handed down my old module 2 and setup to my son. In short, dont waste time if you get the same errors as I did. Better yet, don't give your previous setup away until all bundle parts are verified.
