If you're having carb issues and already doing a rebuild, take a little extra time and rebuild the mid body as well. I was having intermittent issues for several riding seasons on my 06 Yamaha yz450f, all carb related. I finally did a mid body rebuild and the bike runs amazing. Thanks All Balls. This kit was exactly what I needed. Seems ridiculous that Keihin thinks these gaskets are not required for rebuilds! Mine wasn't TERRIBLE, but I had varnish inside the midbody, and I wasn't going to take it apart without new gaskets.
