These work well for holding AirPod Max's, the stand is pretty hefty a good 5lbs or so. Was hoping to use these for different types of headsets as well but they only worked best with the pro's as the products description states. The headphones sit on the rubber sides and sit upright very cleanly. The heft of the stand makes a good paper weight and is not easily moved, that does not translate to the headphones however which can be knocked off the stand. It does the job and looks nice with the headset the colors match the original and makes it feel more like a display piece.

Nice quality and color stand. The metal has a good weight to it, so it doesn’t wobble, and the shape fits the headband perfectly. It almost looks like it came with the headphones, that’s how well it matches. Seems of good magnet strength and fair value for the money.

This is a very expensive headphone stand. In some cases it actually costs more than the headphones people plan to put on it. To be fair, it is designed specifically for the Apple AirPods Max, which retail for five hundred fifty dollars, so the pricing is clearly aimed at that audience. The problem is that the AirPods Max do not have a power button. They rely entirely on magnets to enter sleep mode, and this stand does not include any magnets in the base. Setting your AirPods Max on it is essentially the same as leaving them on the desk. The battery will continue to drain slowly instead of going into low power mode. From a design and build quality standpoint, the stand is excellent. The materials, finish, and overall aesthetic match Apple’s high end accessories perfectly. If someone told you this was an official Apple product, you would probably believe them. It looks clean, minimal, and premium on the desk. If the stand included proper sleep and wake functionality, I would say it is worth the sixty dollar price. It would fall into the category of buy once and be done with it. Without that feature, it becomes much harder to recommend, no matter how good it looks.

I didn't understand when I agreed to review this that is was for Air Pod 'HEADPHONES' and NOT the earbuds! Ooops! Also FYI: it is NOT a charger, it is ONLY a stand. This thing looks exactly like the quintessential little UFO from the 1960's Twilight Zone Episode "The Invaders", even in size! [except is doesn't fly! :-(... Oh well can't have everything! That said, this thing is Solid! (It would probably even stand up to being whacked by a broom better than the original!! ) By solid I mean heavy, and is quite stable. The Headphones - My wife has a pair of BOSE - and despite that they are not Apple Air pods, they do work on this stand. You do have to balance them a bit to get them stand up, but maybe the actual Apple ones would 'snap' right in.... Hmmm Maybe I should buy a pair! :-) Overall, this stand looks good, is solidly built, and will work with other Headphones (similar to AirPod Max) 4 Stars without hesitation.
