Mostly easy to build. Some challenges to aligning the raising top but otherwise pretty understandable to pull it together. The legs seem a little weak but they look great. Overall, exactly what I was looking for.

What I really like about this white modern coffee table is how easy it was to set up and put together. I like that the instructions were very clear and that all the screws and pieces needed for this table were all included. I like that the table is pretty heavy, it’s got some weight to it, and you can tell that the wood is a good quality wood with a laminate shell. I like that it comes in a bright white color, which makes it look very modern, and I like that the legs are wood and a light wood color that also make it look more trendy and modern. I like that it has the self rising desk feature that allows for you to pick up the flat table top and it self rise up to hold a laptop, or your book or whatever you have on top of it. The only thing that I didn’t like about this coffee table was that on some pieces of the wood at the edges, there are Knicks, so you could see some of the wood exposed. Other than that, I really liked everything about this table and it seems like it’s going to last me a while. Overall, I’m so happy I got this white self rising table top coffee table for my living room, it is just what I needed to complete my modern themed living room and I really like the aesthetic and overall size of this coffee table. I will recommend this coffee table to all my family and friends, and to anyone looking for a modern, and very durable, and good quality coffee table, that has a self rising table top, then I would also recommend this to you too.

I recently set up this lift-top coffee table, and while it serves its purpose, there were a few hiccups during assembly and use. Pros: Fairly easy to assemble despite a few tricky spots. The hidden compartment is spacious and great for organizing items. The modern design fits well with my living room décor. Cons: Some screws didn’t align properly, which was frustrating during setup. The lift-top mechanism feels a bit unstable and wobbles slightly when in use. Overall, it’s a stylish and functional table, but the quality of the lift-top mechanism and assembly alignment could be better.

This is a review of the ALINE FURNITURE Coffee Table Lift Top. It is far better than I expected. I've gotten some on-line "furniture" from Amazon before, and most of them have been disappointing. Not so with this one. This is actually an honest piece of furniture. The good stuff: First, it appears to have far more substance than the other pieces I've gotten. Granted, this is not an oak table, but at least the pieces/parts feel strong. The poor stuff: Is there some sort of law that requires any building instructions from a Chinese company to be almost totally unreadable? Thankfully, the schematics included give some sort of understanding of what needed to be done. But even more thankfully, I've built a number of similar items, so I was able to fill in the info that was sorely lacking. Heck, it took me most of the afternoon to figure out that I was putting the table together in an upside-down orientation. Also, there are lots of screws and bolts and attachments to make. There are pre-drilled holes, but many of them were either not done well or were slightly off-center. Not a deal-breaker, but certainly an annoyance. The bottom line: after completing the work, the table looks damned nice. The "lift top" portion works smoothly and more than makes up for the work needed to put it together. My verdict: 4 stars.
