Very pleased with his keyboard. First of all I was impressed that it was packaged so very well, to the extent that I didn’t have any concerns with it even possibly being damaged. I could only hope that I could remove it from the packaging and get it to the space where it needed to go, as safely and expertly as it made it to my home. As should always be the case, handle with care, it’s electronic after all, you need to handle it with care. I didn’t have any trouble with it. I’m still learning about the features. Sounds great. It’s become my daily routine. I have been without a piano or a keyboard for so very long that I actually started to cry when I first played it because it brought back so many memories. I have Alesis electronic drums so that’s why I chose this keyboard. I can’t tell you how happy I am I just absolutely love it. ... show more

  • Bought as a replacement for an older piano..:
Size: Recital Style: Piano Only
My fiancée were renting a home that was going through an estate sale, and one of the things left over in the home was an older piano. She had played as a child/teenager, and she started to really enjoy playing the piano every day. We attempted to buy the piano when we moved, but the owner insisted the piano was going to his sister, as it was his parents. I started shopping for pianos for her to play, but dreaded the cost, the moving of it, and the overall maintenance of tuning it, etc. I started searching for replacement options, tried a couple keyboards to no success (i.e. happy fiancée.). After a bit of research, I stumbled across the “digital piano” options. I have to tell you - if you are looking for an digital replacement for a basic piano - this thing is a winner. It sounds absolutely the same, never has to be tuned, takes up less space, and is overall just amazing. I’m sure for advanced players out there that there’s better alternatives. But, for the cost, this is basically a piano in a box for normal hobbyist players. Don’t hesitate, don’t try the others, just buy this. The ONLY complaint I have is that the stand that comes with it doesn’t easily hold an iPad. ... show more

  • Better than expected.
Size: Recital White Style: Piano Only
Received in good order with no damage to packing or sticking keys. Being a beginner, I am looking forward to using this to learn on. Also, the promotional credit to Yousician is a bonus to get up and running quickly. So far sounds great and happy with purchase.

  • Great sound
Size: Recital Style: Piano Only
I am a senior citizen who is just getting back to playing a little after giving up piano years ago and then after covid giving away my previous keyboard. I am so pleased with this Alesis. It has great sound quality, like a standard piano. I am relearning so much but it is so pleasurable because I love the sound. It is amazing. It is a full size keyboard and very enjoyable. We live in a condo and it doesn't take up much room. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Good for beginners
Size: Recital Style: Piano Only
I decided I was going back to playing after 30-something years I was away. I bought this because I didn't want to spend too much on something I don't know if I want to invest in, for that slight chance I'll drop this playing music thing again after six months. It's good for beginners to learn to read notes and play them. You get those other keyboard styles you can play with and mess around with, but if you want to control your legato or work on your transitioning to a crescendo, I would recommend spending the extra bucks. The keys are semi-weighted, and it makes it hard to change from P to f or mf. I find myself putting more pressure on the keys in order to make a sound. Also, I miss the lasting natural sound of the acoustic piano. Trying to get a good legato can sometimes be a challenge, but maybe it's just how those simple electronic keyboards sound. It's good for what you pay, I can practice with headphones (The sound quality is not "clean" without headphones, and it's ok with them), and it's easy to move around if I need to. You can add a peddle, and overall it's easy to use. I will be in the market for a better instrument soon, but in the overall price performance, it's not that bad. A small tip for attaching the keyboard to a stand with the straps. If the screw you get with the stand doesn't fit, try an M6 screw. ... show more

  • Strictly piano
Size: Recital Style: Piano Only
I bought it for myself - beginning adult piano lessons. I probably did not need the full 88, but had to get it to get decent sound. One big drawback in this modern world - it needed to have bluetooth availability for earbuds so when you practice you don't bother anybody. It would have been so helpful. Invest in the stand. My biggest regret. ... show more

  • Excellent electric piano for the price
Size: Recital Style: Piano Only
Of course you can get MUCH higher quality electronic keyboards/pianos, but for the price, this is really solid! Plays fairly "realistically" and also sounds good. You really can't find a better full-size electric piano for the price, I believe. Recommend! No problems with this so far.
