The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased some unfinished laser-cut wooden boxes to stain and paint. Upon arrival, I noticed one of the box corners had detached. Instead of returning the item, I decided to fix it with wood glue. That's when I found Aleene's Wood Glue 4fl oz on Amazon. The price point and size of the bottle were perfect for my needs. Despite its affordability, the glue proved to be of excellent quality. It was easy to use, non-toxic, and the results were just as I hoped. The thick plastic bottle comes with a cap to keep the glue liquid after cutting the tip. The color matched untreated, unfinished wood perfectly, and according to the product description, Aleene's Wood Glue is also stainable and paintable. Applying the glue was straightforward, with a thick consistency that allowed me to drip the glue into the box's crack, let gravity do it's thing and tape the box together to dry for several hours. Cleanup was a breeze as well - any glue on my skin rubbed off without leaving residue or causing irritation. Excess glue on the wood was easily removed using my finger. In the end, the repair looked fantastic, and I still have a good amount of high-quality wood glue left over. I'm delighted with this product as it was effective, economical, and delivered the desired results with minimal effort. I couldn't find any reason not to give Aleene's Wood Glue a 5-star rating. I would definitely buy this product again and recommend it to others. It's an excellent choice for those in need of a reliable, affordable wood glue for small projects and repairs. Aleene's Wood Glue exceeded my expectations and provided a quick, effective solution to fix my wooden box. Its nontoxic, quality, ease of use, and compatibility with staining and painting make it a fantastic option for anyone needing wood glue for minor fixes or craft projects. ... show more

    • Very good glue for wooden pieces
Size: 4 fl oz - 1 Pack
I bought this for a craft project using wood pieces, and this glue worked great. This glue definitely sticks wood and wood easily and once it’s dried, it’s very sturdy. The price made me skeptical about the quality but it’s cheap and works really well.

    • Works great and fast!
Size: 4 fl oz - 1 Pack
I had to make something with wood for my son for Xmas. Normally I’d use tacky or Elmer’s glue, but it slides around too much. This has a powerful hold that grips fast. I clamped the awkwardly-shaped pieces together using one of my small butterfly hair clips, and it held right away. Nice strong hold! Great price. ... show more

    • Works great on clothing drawers
Size: 4 fl oz - 1 Pack
One of the big panels on my wooden clothing drawer fell off in one big piece, and it was because the glue had worn off after so many years (probably a 10+ year old drawer). I got this wood glue to put together the piece that fell off, and after letting it dry, I had a working drawer again. Solid product, no real complaints. I recommend letting it dry fully. ... show more

    • easy to use and worth the money
Size: 4 fl oz - 1 Pack
i found that it was easier to use when you stick the wooden pieces together because it takes about 15/20 secs for the glue to get tacky. it's very easy to clean and comes with a little cap so it doesn't dry out. worth the money

    • Premium Wood Glue

I used the glue to repair all my night table drawers that started to come apart when the original glue dried out and quit. Was dry in a few hours, Spread evenly and was so so easy to work with in a resealable plastic squeeze bottle. Highly Recommend this product. Not only for it's quality, but, also for offering great value for the money. You need wood Glue? Use this brand with confidence. ... show more

    • Awesome wood glue.
Size: 4 fl oz - 1 Pack
I was looking for something to use so I could make a wood composite and didn't want to waste a lot of money on Gorilla Glue or Rockset just to use as a bonding glue between layers and this worked great!! I had it out when my wife brought an old chair that needed to be repaired so I just pulled the joints apart and used this glue real quick figuring I'd do a better repair later but it's held up to our abuse so far. I'm not sure about complex or hight stench builds or repairs that I would normally use Gorilla wood glue or Rockset on but way better than Elmer's for normal wood use. ... show more
