Initial review and updated review. • Initial review posted February 11, 2025 (2 stars): So this bag has some pros and cons. Let’s get into it. CONS: It DID NOT come with longer straps but has the attachments for them?? I also see the longer straps in the product photos and other reviews where customers have them on. It arrived worn. The lock mechanism on the front has scratches and chips in it. It was packaged very poorly, just in a plastic bag, so maybe that’s why. The poof has also seen better days 🤣 It was stuffed inside the bag but completely torn open. The poof wasn’t going to stay on the bag anyway but if it’s a contributing factor to the price of the bag, then a non-dissected poof would have been appreciated. PROS: Weight and color of the bag is great. I was looking for a smaller bag but not miniature. This size is just right to where it holds everything I need but isn’t bulky and massive to carry around. It’s comfortable to wear and versatile enough to go with anything. Message to the seller: Check your product before you ship it!! It’s not hard to do. You owe it to your customers to give them what you say they’ll get!! • Updated review: It’s 2 days later and I’ve already received a replacement bag! This time the bag was packaged MUCH better with protective wrappings and inserts. The front buckle still has some scratches on it, like the first one did, but not as bad. This time I got the longer straps and an intact poof! Even though the first bag arrived in rough shape, this bag is really cute and a great size for everyday wear. The second bag arrived very quickly so I’ll boost my rating to 4 stars.

This purse is NOT worth $75 dollars. But, it IS worth the $40 dollars it cost me (including the tax) with courtesy credits and a 30% percent refund. The retail price is based on demand, rather than quality. It arrived with numerous loose threads I had to cut off, and a couple of shallow scratches on the flap's chain decoration. One of the D-rings was stitched onto the purse out of place. The strap's hook on that side gets stuck under the flap. So I can only use the strap when I absolutely have to be hands-free (lucky for me, that isn't often.) But that can probably be fixed with a replacement strap that has smaller/shorter hooks. I also had to use a black dry erase marker on the top handle's edge in a couple of spots. The glaze had chipped off, and exposed the brown color of the handle's material. I don't expect this purse to last more than one year. However, the purse does look chic and came with a nice matching pom-pom. The faux leather looks good and doesn't have a shine that makes it look cheap. The black matte finish on the metal components elevates the look of the purse. But the overall quality doesn't justify the current retail price. My very durable Micheal Kors and Coach purses cost me just a little bit more than the retail price of this Aldo purse.
