Solid wood shelves, sturdy, looks great, easy to assemble But note that the sturdiness of it comes solely from screws connected to the shelves. Make sure you have these aligned well before tightening fully. I wouldn't recommend pushing it to the side, regardless. A good addition to this would be having some kind of horizontal support. Also note that the bottom of the book shelf is adjustable at each of the four corners, so you can twist to correct any wobbling. ... show more

Sturdy, well constructed and easy to assemble. It looks great! One thing to note is that these shelves are treated wood, and will need to off gas for a couple of days, as they smell very strongly of turpentine or some other finishing agent. I had to air out my entire apartment every few hours to get the chemical smell out...so just be warned. ... show more

It is a nice sturdy shelf but had a strong chemical smell in the beginning. Took about 3 days with an open window & air purifier to get rid of the smell. Overall worth the price.

Received this sooner than the estimated delivery date. Very easy to put together (just six bolts per shelf). Adjustable pads on the legs allow you to level the unit as needed. Good product, and looks good with the metal and reclaimed wood.
