Started feeling better physically, mentally, and even spiritually once I got this lightpad incorporated into my morning routine. TBH, I was feeling just overall in a slump and drained when winter hit. I had heard great things about light therapy and thought I'd give it a try. So I looked at a few options here on Amazon, almost went with a cheaper alternative, and ultimately decided on the Lightpad Mini for durability, ease of use, and portability even though it was pricey for me and I wasn't sure I would stick with the routine. Nonetheless, the lightpad arrived, I promised myself to stick with it for a couple weeks and I did. Over the course of the first few days, I started feeling more energized and just simply so much better. It's about 5 months later at time of this review and I still use the lightpad every morning. No signs of wear and tear at all and just as bright as ever. It's on my nightstand and I just push the one button after shutting off my alarm.     • Very compact, strong light without heating up
It packs a punch. I chose this because of how small it is since I travel a lot for work. I’ve used sunlight jr version in the past after recommended by my drs. Size of this one is like a Kindle. It definitely helps my mood, like a jolt of caffeine energy directly after, then more often/consistently you use it the irritability, tiredness, sleep cycle gets better. Daily use is the key, even just 15 min daily. It is little pricey but has a longer distance you can sit from the unit to get the full effect than other models: not a fan of having to be 5-10” away when I want to set it on my nightstand. I just use the lowest setting, maybe I will work up to the higher ones but it’s not necessary right now. Only thing that could probably be improved is a longer cord. It’s enough for me but I could see others needing longer for outlets under the desk or behind the couch. ... show more

This light is very small and portable (see photo against a mint container) and pumps out very bright light. I started using it as we started to shift to more hours of dark and greyer days, and it has eased the transition immensely. I use it for ~20 minutes in the morning as I get ready for the day and feel a positive difference in alertness. Would recommend for any in need of some extra help in adjusting.
