Bought this over a year ago and have used every single night. I usually have a duvet cover on it but when I wash my cover I honestly take a couple weeks to actually put the cover back on. 100% cotton shell. Not a soft velvety-feel cotton but a crisp cool cotton that you’d expect from your sheets, it does crinkle but subtly. I have had a duvet with the softer feel and no crinkle, I like them both, this one “feels fresher” if that makes sense. Have had no issues after washing. A simple fluff of the feathers brings it right back to the light fluffy duvet I love and expect. (In case any have worries about the weird clumping mentioned in one review) and the stitching is as tight and perfect as it was on day one. It did seem flat when it first arrived but fluffed up beautifully in less than a day. (Blurry low-light picture with my sleepy son for reference 😅) Have never had a feather stick out and poke me (my biggest pet peeve with down, as is my husband’s and not a single complaint from him, unlike with our feather pillows). Color is just as saturated as was on day one, after over a year of use and biweekly washes. I have a queen bed so I ordered a king for the oversized look I desire. I switch between a king and queen sized cover, the queen cover makes the duvet appear thicker and fluffier. Lightweight, I often find myself kicking my sheets and extra blanket down to the bottom of the bed because I prefer the feel of the duvet alone. Feels like sleeping in a cloud. Holds heat wonderfully in the winter and fabric is cool to the touch in the summer. I imagine I’ll be using this duvet for the next 3-5 years. When I do replace it, I’ll be purchasing the same one. I ordered a king size. I thought about only giving it 4 stars because it’s no where near as fluffy/thick as the photos, (I know, that’s a given but still) but honestly for the price I’m pretty happy with it. It came in a tiny box vacuum sealed, and puffed out no problem. The last photo is of the comforter after 72 hours of letting it “fluff”. The material is soft and the details and stitching seem to be of decent quality. We haven’t received our bedframe so I haven’t been able to actually use it on a bed but honestly, I will prob purchase it again for our guest room. It’s stays cool to the touch, but I haven’t used it so I really can’t say yet if it will be too hot or not. The card states that a slight smell may be present when first opened, and that it is normal, but I didn’t notice any smell. ... show more

Needed a new down comforter for the cold season. Can't do white with the animals and was happy to find this darl gray at a decent price. It is squishy and soft like a down comforter should be. I wish the material were softer. I am wondering if after a couple of washings, it will. If so, I will come back and revise my rating. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star. I was really nervous about the reviews thay it was noisy. It’s go a nice crisp sound but it’s definitely not crunchy or like a plastic bag. It you want fully silent bedding this isnt for you but I find the noise really soothing. Feels like very fresh bedding.

I spent awhile looking for a good fluffy duvet that wasn't hundreds of dollars. After getting it delivered Iput it in the dryer for 30 min and It fluffed right up. It's fluffy and feels like a nice hotel comforter!
