I love this duvet. I was looking for something warm but not too heavy like a comforter or quilt as I had before. It feels like sleeping under a cocoon of warmth. Like others have said "feels like a cloud." The white looks truly white. I might get the California king next time as I'd like for it to go further than my mattress. I have a regular king bed but an extra thick mattress. Also, it did not have a smell at all. Followed the instructions for fluffiness by laying it flat (as it comes vacuum packed), taking the ends and fanning it a few times. The next day the pictures here were taken. Love this product! This comforter is everything I wanted. It’s warm, cozy, lightweight, and so comfortable. It ties in easily to my duvet cover. Some people were complaining about a “paper” sound of the fabric - I think it’s just the sound of that quality of thicker fabric, and it’s subtle - something you get used to. The Alanzimo Goose Down Comforter Duvet has been improving my sleep quality due to how comfortable it is. It is exceptionally soft and fluffy. In addition, the duvet contains 50% Down, 50% Feather, which makes it feel like I am sleeping in a cloud. Despite being a king size, it is still lightweight while keeping me warm and cozy at night. I really like how this comforter is hypoallergenic, so I stopped waking up sneezing or having a congested nose. Bought this over a year ago and have used every single night. I usually have a duvet cover on it but when I wash my cover I honestly take a couple weeks to actually put the cover back on. 100% cotton shell. Not a soft velvety-feel cotton but a crisp cool cotton that you’d expect from your sheets, it does crinkle but subtly. I have had a duvet with the softer feel and no crinkle, I like them both, this one “feels fresher” if that makes sense. Have had no issues after washing. A simple fluff of the feathers brings it right back to the light fluffy duvet I love and expect. (In case any have worries about the weird clumping mentioned in one review) and the stitching is as tight and perfect as it was on day one. It did seem flat when it first arrived but fluffed up beautifully in less than a day. (Blurry low-light picture with my sleepy son for reference 😅) Have never had a feather stick out and poke me (my biggest pet peeve with down, as is my husband’s and not a single complaint from him, unlike with our feather pillows). Color is just as saturated as was on day one, after over a year of use and biweekly washes. I have a queen bed so I ordered a king for the oversized look I desire. I switch between a king and queen sized cover, the queen cover makes the duvet appear thicker and fluffier. Lightweight, I often find myself kicking my sheets and extra blanket down to the bottom of the bed because I prefer the feel of the duvet alone. Feels like sleeping in a cloud. Holds heat wonderfully in the winter and fabric is cool to the touch in the summer. I imagine I’ll be using this duvet for the next 3-5 years. When I do replace it, I’ll be purchasing the same one. Paid full price and still very happy with my purchase, this is coming from a mom of two on a tight budget. ... show more

I have mixed feelings out this comforter. I searched for a good week or two for a down comforter because I read that they can help you keep cooler at night. I haven’t slept under this one yet, but I’m sitting under it and it’s incredibly hot! I’ll give it at least one night, but I have a feeling I’ll be returning it (if I can get it back in the box). This was item number #9,876 trying to find the perfect comforter, so the search continues! That being said, I’m not a huge fan of the material (feels like a sleeping bag), don’t mind the crinkle, and overall think the appearance is pretty cute.
