This is my second Aklot guitar in less than 3 months. The style and design of this guitar is amazing. Very little neck dive given how light the body is. Super comfortable and fun to play. I didn't buy this guitar to use as a main guitar, but to mod and to add to a collection. At this price point why not. This guitar does play decent out of the box for anyone who just wants to play, so that is nice. For those that are a little more discerning regarding their guitars. The frets are not polished, so they are scratchy until you polish them. The pickups are really weak. This could be personal preference, I prefer active pickups. The Low E string ferrule does not allow for 60g string to pass through unless you "persuade" it. The stock bridge doesn't intonate very well, The tuners are meh, and the nut needed a little work. Like I said this is a good guitar, but with a little work could be great guitar. Either way I enjoy it.

So I want to do this review based off the price point and not compare it to other higher in Guitars. Came boxed well and a nice soft case everything was wrapped up and protected . The action was slightly high, but not unplayable, The neck was straight as an arrow. Comfort and playability and finish we’re all five stars if you’re looking for a metal guitar. It’s very light and easy to play and has a very unique body shape. The neck is thin and fast, and the frets were finished perfect nothing sticking out. That is the positives. The only real negatives I could find the pick ups are way too mid range for a metal guitar. They need to be swapped out and the tuning pegs are too close together , but still usable and the head stock looks cool. But for under $300 if you were to add a nice set of EMG’s pick ups, this guitar could be a beast. One last thing if you plan on hanging it on your wall, I would be very cautious. The neck barely fits

Really good guitar, it resembles a LTD Arrow in ways. Nice smooth walnut neck and frets. (Has neck dive) Stays in tune. The Contour cut away help fit your body. I noticed the output jack, although being located on the back corner still seems to be in the way of my knee while playing. Especially with a wireless transmitter. I kept bumping it and turning off the transmitter. Bump it any harder and the jack plug might break off. So 4 stars just because if that.
