  • Fantastic all around
Color: Black Housing
To anyone thinking of getting these, they are great. I have had them for a few weeks now and in Colorado they have been though a number of different weather conditions. The seal I great. There's has been no moisture in the light. This was a big concern for me. They fit perfect. All the lights fit with no modifications. They look great. The beam pattern is great. Not wonky like some of the reviews on a lot of after market lights. Plus these were the cheapest I found. Not to mention I have never seen anything packaged as well as these were. They couldn't have been shipped safer. I hope this helps anyone considering. These were well worth my money. I plan to update with more pics when I can. ... show more

  • 3 months later WATER INSIDE
Color: Chrome Housing
I loved this light the first few months.... 3 months down the road after having them installed and verified professionally at dealer. There's water inside. Car was parked outside during the rain, and water inside both of them!

  • Did not have to buy a new car, looks great
Color: Chrome Housing
New car look. It took about 2 hours for two of us to install these. Haynes suggests removing the bumper cover and front tires, neither of which proved necessary, but which would have made attachments more accessible. U-tube worthless, did not show a 2006 4-Runner and other years have different pieces in the way of removal and installation. The top three screw locations are obvious, the bottom no so much. The wheels need to be fully turned and a few screw attachments of the inner fender removed so it can be pulled out of the way for the lowest mounting screw. Some of the mounting holes had residue from production, easily removed with a Dremel tool and rat tail file. Study the new parts carefully to find out where the 4 fasteners are located. You find the bottom one by Braille (unless you remove the bumper cover) but it can be done. Using longer bottom screws than the ones I removed helped a lot. All fasteners use a 10 mm socket--bottom fastener needs a magnet insert or double stick tape to make life easier Good luck finding plastic replacement fasteners for the seal at the top radiator support--The Toyota ones I got at the parts store were too small. I settled on Ford parts which I got at Pep Boys, which are slightly too large, but work. The old fasteners are brittle and break when removed. Original ones are .31" and the Ford ones are .33" ... show more

  • Not even six weeks. Very Disappointed
Color: Chrome Housing
Well, I’m very disappointed. And here I am... promptly writing a review. I thought I found the right choice. A 4.2 star rating. (Mostly) Positive reviews. When I installed these, I was soooooo happy with how they looked. From the lens side, they look identical to OEM. From the housing side, you can tell the quality isn’t as good as OEM, but looked well put together enough. Knowing that a lot of aftermarket headlights tend to have condensation or water build up 6, 12 months later... I even added a silicone bead across the whole seal as extra protection. I posted my pictures on Instagram and was happy as a clam. Now, 6 weeks after installation.... I’ve got condensation ALREADY. This is completely unacceptable. It’s been in the elements for only a little over a month... I’m speechless. My original OEMs had zero condensation until Year 10. ... show more

  • 2007 limited v8 4runner looks great again
Color: Chrome Housing
My lights were starting to look bad on the top and sides. Rest of car looks great but headlights made the car look old. I decided to try these head lights out. I'm pretty sure I increased the resale value by far more than the cost of these lights. Very well packaged and arrived undamaged. Installation took 1:45 from hood pop to hand wash. I didn't rush and had a few interruptions so you may get it done quicker than I did. You'll read about 4 bolts per light and one is hard to remove. It's true but don't let it stop you. 3 bolts super easy. 4th can be reached from under vehicle with small ratchet and I think 10mm socket. I wasted time looking at the wheel well and how to remove it based on other things I read. Just get on your crawler or back with a light you'll find the 4th bolt. It's hidden behind the light mount just feel around and remove by touch. You wouldn't need to use it on install if you didn't want to mess with it. 3 bolts hold light very well. I'm fairly picky and very happy with the lights. Probably not as good as OEM but I can't see it. Light pattern seems similar enough to when new 11 years ago. Has the same light cutoff like it did before getting all hazy. I had to adjust the lights with the wheel adjustment knob since one was way off. Not a big deal. I took 4 runner through no touch car wash to test water seal and no moisture. At this point I could not be happier. Now it will just be all about how long they will last and only time will tell. I think I should be good for a long time. I'll update this post if anything happens. Update 12-22-2021 I'm changing from 5 to 2 stars. My lights now seem to always have water inside. It started with an instance of water inside from a car wash probably almost 1 year ago. It has gotten worse and worse over time. Now they always have water in there regardless. If I had it to do over again I would just splurge for OEM since I'm now having to do it anyway. If you're going to spend the time you probably should go with quality unless you're just trying to sell your car. I'd say I got 2 years out of them. The other observation is I notice a rainbow effect around the light cutoff or edge which is different from OEM. ... show more
