I had the new Akkon lamps installed by a Jeep service center. The service manager said they installed without modification. I have not yet tested the lamps at night to see how well they work. I turned the lamps on in my driveway during the day. The low beam seems to be aiming a bit high, but I will see how well they illuminate the roadway when I drive at night. I was told by my service manager that many aftermarket lamps are known to leak after a while. I hope this isn't the case. The service manager told me he uses another brand of aftermarket lamp but he is interested in how these Akkon lamps perform. I quoted a new factory sey of new lamps which was $700.00 per pair. If these Akkon lamps work well, then I will know I made a good investment. ... show more

    • I got a bad one
The headlights were a direct fit, easy to install. After two months use one headlight has a condensation problem. There is enought water in the headlight that it is already clouding up the lens. Since the other headlight is satisfactory I think the other is defective. I will have to replace it in the spring when the weather is warmer. ... show more

Purchased the set for 2009 Jeep Cherokee. Fit perfect, easy install. One of the assemblies had a few minor issues (may have been due to the shipper). Akkon responded to my email within a few hours even though it was the weekend and provided a replacement within days.
