I always find it hard to order clothing and just hope that it fits when it arrives. After I washed and dried the top I put it on and it fit great. I would say this is true to your normal size. The material is soft and for us ladies who are experiencing the furnace effect these are very light weight. I ordered this pretty sweater as a new bright color to my wardrobe. I wanted to order a size lower but Amazon's system kept suggesting the higher size. It fis fairly loose and I could have fit in the lower size. It is well made and I wash it inside out in a garment bag and hanger dry.

Very pretty top. I loved the style and color. However the style did not flatter me. It was too tight in the tummy area so I returned it. For reference I am 5'3" and 130 lbs. and ordered a Medium. I have a bit of a tummy so close fitting tops show the bulge.

I am in love with this sweater! The fabric is soft and thick, not at all flimsy, but not so thick that you will sweat to death in it. I listened to the other reviewers and ordered a size down to a medium, which is a very bold move for me because I NEVER wear a medium. I'm a true Large 12-14 leaning closer to the 14, and I have to say the medium fit like a glove. I was shocked. It hangs nicely at the waist, not tight across the backside--just perfect. I'm 5 feet, 155 pounds and a 38C, and this sweater gives me a really nice shape. I will be ordering it in other colors. It's a piece that you definitely need in your wardrobe because it fits that well, especially if you are thick waisted. You will be happy to see a waistline wearing this top! ... show more
