Been working through this camera for about 2 weeks now, trying to get familiar with it. Bought for a Motorcycle trip coming up and so far has been working better than expected. Image stabilization is better than thought while going 55+ MPH. Lots of choices when it comes to picture quality . and videos look sharp and crisp. Battery life seems to be on par. Camera remote is limited, but not a deal breaker. Defiantly worth the price if looking to get an action camera without the big name price. ... show more

I've had action cams before and they were always disappointing. Someone recommended this to me so I thought I would give it a try, actually they had the older model. I'm not sure what the difference is but I'm very happy with this, it seems very well thought out. The video quality is way better than I expected. I'm not talking about the resolution, which is fine, I'm talking about the image quality itself there is no stutter no Shimmer no blur or anything that would make me sick while watching my own nauseating fishing videos. I like the Distortion correction feature, it works well in wide mode but you cannot use it with the image stabilization. I don't miss image stabilization because I'm not riding a bike or anything that would really require stabilization. I honestly see very little difference with stabilization on and off. Anyway that could always be done in post edit if necessary. The construction is solid the buttons are well placed. I like the power saving standby mode but note: requires two presses of the record button to start record. one press to wake and a second press to start record. The touch and swipe functions of the screen work well. The menu is intuitive and clean. There is a visible recording indicator light. The battery life is okay and will give you about 40 minutes of recording. Of course we always want more but the batteries are cheap enough that you can have 10. The nature of action cameras tend to clip videos into segments. This one does 10 minute segments. The audio quality is abysmal at best, but usable and there is no gain control . At this price point it is much more than I expected and I'm quite happy with it. ... show more

    • Nice Value for Adventure Camera
There are a lot of nice features packed into this camera for the price. It is relatively easy to use out of the box and does a good job at underwater pictures and videos when the light is good and the subjects are 5-10 feet. As others have mentioned, in lower light, it struggles a bit. Outside of the case, and above water I think the pictures and videos are excellent. I like that the camera comes with two batteries, and I like that you can charge while the camera is on. This is almost a required feature because in my experience, the battery runs down pretty quickly when connected to the app to download content. As far as the app, I thought it was pretty straight forward and it has been nice being able to pull content to my phone wirelessly while on vacation. The speed is decent and for the most part flawless. Every now and then the download will fail and you have to redo it. Lastly, the camera comes with tons of attachments, which is nice and a waterproof case which I really like. Two things about this. If it’s in the case and dry, don’t try taking it out and putting it back in while doing water activities. Even a little moisture on the outside will cause the case to fog up and you basically cannot fix it until you are back at your hotel. And last, there really should be just a simple lanyard and wrist strap. My wife and I stared at all of the included attachments trying to figure out what to use for snorkeling and there’s nothing that isn’t clunky. We used a lanyard from a water phone case we bought, pushed it through the mounting holes on the bottom and then attached that to an included wrist strap. With all that said, for 30% of the major competitor, I think this camera is a tremendous value and I’m happy I bought it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Camera is amazing. Didn’t want to spend the money on a GoPro so went with this and it’s fantastic. Put it on my bike this morning and went for a ride and the picture is just perfect. Camera was easy to connect to phone and download the videos. Takes a little long to download but the camera is perfect. Very happy with it. Instructions on all the features and stuff would be great but I figured it out. If you want a great camera for a good price this is the one hands down. Even on my bike camera was still and didn’t shake or anything ! ... show more

It's small, solid, touch screen, lots of settings to get what you want, great pics, vids, image stabilization, tons of accessories, good customer appreciation and offers from Akaso after purchase. Super happy with Brave 7LE. 11-23-23-Update 1: The photos and videos are great. Liked the first one so much I bought a second for early Black Friday. I was able to format a 128GB U3 MicroSD using my Windows PC to exFat with a large allocation size and it works just fine. Effectively doubling the quantity of HIGH quality video and photos this takes. I'll post some and video in the near future. The touch screen is a must! I have the 60 in 1 accessories kit. All the accessories fit into the included case. The camera is so versatile might as well be able to use it for content creation. I have two of the same to make sure when I create content, I have the exact settings in each camera for all the footage to match in editing. I wanted the Brave 7LE due to it's IPX rating even without the housing in case of weather or getting splashed on while using. Customer service continues to be great and are easy to reach and respond by email within 24 hours. I've asked questions about products I have and about products to buy. They get answers back quickly.
