I am your worst nightmare on the road... I am a flagger, traffic control. I'm the one you swear at when you don't plan ahead when you knew the road was going to be under construction. I liv/work in the Portland OR area. Lots of fog, gets dark early in the winter... My #1 priority is to keep the road workers safe. #2 is to keep you safe. If you think these are good to go out of the package, think again. Each flare requires (3) AAA batteries and you have to unscrew the back in 2 places to access the battery compartment. I bought a set of four, so you can imagine. Naturally, they do not include batteries or a screwdriver. Compare this to another electronic Xmas gift (instant read meat thermometer) which came with a battery AND a tiny screwdriver. They’re very clever once they’re set up….if the batteries haven’t died by the time you need to use them. ... show more

Lots of different light modes and bright. Exactly what you want vs having flares. The magnets are strong enough to securely affix to a vehicle. I bought the package of six in order to place three in each of two cars. Good product from a safety standpoint.

Great Product. I do plenty of driving and have always kept safety flares in the vehicle but these are much safer. Not only that but flares are only good for a one time use where these can be used numerous times.

If you have an RV, get these. For my bus, I prefer the battery version versus rechargeable versions and keep spare AA batteries on board. These are bright and easy to use, and always ready when you need them.

The lights are bright, the magnet is strong. But the white flashlight led lights don't work. I didn't but it for the flashlight, although it is a good feature. They just do not light.
