I bought these for my living room to add a bit more color and at first I thought the color of the curtains would make it more golden but the light comes in normally and it does not change/effect the shade of light that enters the house and it's good for some privacy well also allowing sunlight to enter. I really like that this product is offered at different lengths because it's compatible for different windows and have the long and short ones for a longer window and one for behind my couch so that it isn't dragging too much.
