  • Very Small Footprint - HUGE Soundstage...
- I've had this little gem for just about two weeks now, playing it for about four hours each day, and from the very first moment it was very impressive. - To be clear I do NOT like writing product reviews, period. Nevertheless I feel somewhat obliged to those like myself that relentlessly look for real value in the contemporary landscape of marketing noise for my consumer dollars. It suffices to say that I have genuine difficulty in recalling a better spend of US$79.99. - This power amplifier sounds MUCH better than its specifications (as impressive as they are) may suggest. At very loud levels its authority over the low frequency acoustic echelons never fails to impress me and its ever so slightly warm sound flirts with my nostalgia as regards to the tube amps of yore. Its SNR and power reserves handshake with everything from the quietest passages of Bach to the eye-popping electronic bass of Deadmau5. I can think of no reasonable criticism given its price point and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking the best bang for his audio spend. Gear used- - Vintage Telefunken L250 4 ohm speakers - Proac Response One SC 8 ohm monitors - SoundArtist LS3/5a 11 ohm monitors, with these I did have some issues when played a loud volume, the right channel volume dropped, but at normal near-field distance they sounded just as beautiful as with the above mentioned speakers... I also used several types of preamplifiers, the combo that I loved the most were the vaccum tube preamplifiers... Sweet inmense sound-stage and very musical that made my speakers dance.. Well Done Aiyima,,, Well Done.!!! ... show more

  • CRAZY POWER IN A PALM ON YOUR HAND
WOW ! This mini amplifier is killing it ! I recently got a pair of large Klipsch floor standing speakers with dual 4" woofers on each speaker. Since I got a pair of speakers I was also shopping for a brand new amplifier, I wanted something small so it does not ruin any modernistic design and most importantly I wanted tone control and the ability to stream from Bluetooth. I found this aiyima A05 and it has a 2x100w capacity which is plenty enough for me. The speakers I got are less than 200w per speaker. After I got it hooked up I am surprised on how clean the sound it produces. Not only that , I love the tone control and bluetooth features. Most importantly, It can seriously kick ! It made my whole house shake and rattle. it is hard to do that without including some distortion. This amplifier has ZERO hearable distortion at high values ! I LOVE IT ... show more

  • Tempermental, but good when it's good
I wanted a bluetooth amp to power a couple 8 ohm speakers in the garage. Connections are super easy, but when I plugged it in cold it buzzes and the music is so buzzy and distorted I can't listen to it. (40 degrees F) Brought it in and warmed it up and it works fine. Almost returned it but figured I can just keep it indoors until I want to use it. Overall, not really impressed, but I can make it work. ... show more

  • AIYIMA A05 Or AIYIMA other amps, buy the right one!
AIYIMA A05 is a small (even with the power supply) I put a picture of the A07 & A05 next to each other for size. The AIYIMA A05 is a Bluetooth 5.0 power amplifier that is rated at 100W per channel. I got closer to 45W at 8ohm per channel but that is plenty for most uses. The control knobs on the front plate for volume, bass, and treble are smooth rolling without play and feel-good quality. There is also a toggle switch for on/off. RCA inputs on the back panel along with BT antenna, power cord input, and speaker output. I used banana plugs for my speakers and they were a little close to each other but did not touch. This amplifier is very small, would hardly be noticed if you sat on your desk or tucked into a cubby hole. The case never got hot while I used it. I started my review by listening with both the A07 and A05 amps in near field on my computer desk with ELAC - Debut Reference DBR62 speakers. I use an AIYIMA A07 on my desk and felt that this would be a good A-B test as the price is about the same for both amps. But there are fewer options on the A07 such as it doesn’t have BT or bass and treble control. The ELACs are 6ohm speakers so there was a little more power going to a 6ohm from an 8ohm test. Do you want a quick answer? AIYIMA A05 Vs the AIYIMA A07; AIYIMA A07 is the better sounding amp. The AIYIMA A05 doesn’t sound as clean or have the tight punch of the AIYIMA A07. The AIYIMA A05 sounds like it has about the same power but the sound in near field listening, Low, Mid, Treble don’t sound as even and smooth. You can however adjust a lot with the tone controls to smooth out the response of the speakers. That is the joy of AIYIMA A05. Moving the amps to a pair of JBL Control 28 (8 Ohm speaker) that I have outside, the sound differences between the two amplifiers was no longer an issue. This is why I purchased the AIYIMA A05 in the first place. The ability to connect with Bluetooth and contour the sound with the tone controls built into the AIYIMA A05 makes this the perfect outdoor speaker amplifier. No matter who is connecting to Bluetooth the sound curve with bass and treble is already set for any device connected to the amp. AIYIMA A05 would work with ceiling speakers in a bedroom or out in a shop or garage. When connected to Bluetooth the AIYIMA A05 front light turns green. ( I know, not blue) and when connected to the RCA’s it’s red. The AIYIMA A05 is an amazing piece of modern wonder. Just 10 years ago the AIYIMA A07 or A05 would have been incredibly expensive for such miniaturization for an audio amplifier with this kind of Watts per channel performance. If you pick the AIYIMA A05 for the right scenario you are going to be very pleased with your price to performance use. I would not use the AIYIMA A05 near field like on your computer desk speakers over the AIYIMA A07. The price is about the same for either amplifier. I hope this helps you in picking the correct amplifier. ... show more

  • Sent back 2 then gave up on this amplifier.
Tried two of these and sent both back. Either the design or chips are bad. Loud noise on startup that diminishes into buzzing babble which then transforms into faint ticking after 20-30 seconds. Bought a Fosi - complete silence - what a differnce!
