Main reason for not providing five stars is it needs a little grease to operate smoothly. Good to dig up vines and transplant in a nice clean way. Heavy duty stainless is great. No rust after using and leaving outside for a couple weeks. When using you have to twist and turn then press down. Also suggest ensuring ground is somewhat moist vs hard dry clay so easily to get into ground. I ended up cutting top of vine since difficult to thread through the top. ... show more

Found to be useless to plant seedlings as advertised for. Maybe it would work in wet sand. But definitely does not work in clay. But i found it is good for poking holes in the plastic to plant also very handy for planting seeds in plastic mulch without bending over
