The frames themselves are high quality and the manufacturer (Aitee) did a great job of thinking through packaging to ensure the product arrives in pristine condition, with such touches as sturdy corner protectors on the product and fairly heavy paper protectors covering every side of each plexiglass sheet. I love the way my photos look in them! The stainless-steel mounting hardware, as well as the clear silicon washers, are perfectly manufactured with no visible defects. The reason for the 4-star rather than 5-star rating is just that while Aitee sells multipacks (such as the 4-pack I bought) the instructions presume that the customer will be mounting only one photo. Using the "place dots on your walls using one plexiglass plate" method would work fine for an individual photo, people mounting several together in a grouping really need deailed instructions on the exact spacing between the holes that must be drilled. While I was able to figure it out for myself eventually, what would have made the process much easier and less error-prone would have been instructions on the exact distances between holes to be drilled. Better yet, they could have included a simple paper template with lines on it showing exactly where to drill holes for common arrangements such as mounting all 4 frames in landscape orientation in a 2x2 arrangement or mounting 2 frames in portrait orientation and two in landscape to crate a rectangular arrangement. Adding a simple template such as that would add no more than pennies to the cost of producing the product but would make it much easier for users! An even easier upgrade would be to include a single piece of heavy paper that has the exact same outer dimensions as the plexiglass sheets but with an 8.5" x 11" opening cut into it. Users could then lay that piece of paper onto a sheet of plexiglass in order to perfectly center their photograph (or document) in the frame. Once again, this is probably less of an issue for a customer buying just one frame but is important for someone buying several in the hopes of mounting multiple photos in a consisten manner.

these frames are wonderful! I ended up spray painting the pegs gold, but i love the sleek clean lines instead of a bulky frame that can detract from the picture in the frame. they acrylic panes are a sturdy great quality to! I will be buying more since i know these are quality! the included instructions were easy to follow!
