I used to think the cheap battery nail drill was great until I bought this. Blows the other out of the water. If you do soft gel at home this is so worth it, will make it 100x easier. Just be careful because it is powerful and you can really file down your nails too much if you get carried away. Even the lowest setting can still be strong with certain drill tips attached. I like the variety you get for the tips but they do wear down and stop being as effective over time. I think that’s inevitable though with any brand. It seems to have a pretty generic way of attaching them though and Amazon sells a lot of cheap drill bits you can surely buy. You get so many with this drill though it would take a while to get to that point though. Be aware that you will need to plug this in to a wall outlet to use it, the cord is fairly long. Only thing I’m not crazy about is the on/off switch. It’s a toggle switch where “off “ is the middle position, and moving it to either side will turn the drill “on” and spin in that direction. It can be tricky to get back to “off” and I often end up making it spin in opposite directions til I get it to turn off. The speed setting is a scrolly wheel next to the toggle switch. Super simple to set up and use. Gentle enough that it doesn’t scare my too much, never made me bleed even if I knick my skin but does a good job. Lots of tools come with and so far have held up through many uses with plenty to spare.

I decided to start dip powdering my nails at home. This tool was easy to use and has all the basic attachments needed to smooth the dip nails. You can adjust the speed of the rotating bit so it provides more precise control. I can get the dip powder layer very thin and natural looking with this tool. I also use this to rough up/take off the dip powder before soaking the nail to remove the powder. This tool paid for itself after one dip mani at home. I do wish it came with at least one higher grit dremel bit. The attachments that came with it have pretty fine grit so it takes some time and patience to smooth out the nail or remove the dip powder before soaking. Defiantly not like the salon quality tools with really rough bits that make quick work of dip or gel removal. If that is what you need then I suggest looking at another tool/set. After purchasing a UV light and trying, very unsuccessfully, to remove my gel nails with acetone, I decided to buy an eFile. I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I wasn't sure how committed I was to doing my own nails. I chose this file because of its affordability, the variety of attachments it comes with, and the fact that it's electric instead of using batteries. I'm very pleased with how this file performs; it's powerful, and being able to control the speed and rotation direction has been a lifesaver. I mostly use the sandpaper and metal attachments, and I haven't really used the others, but that's just my preference. I like that the file and all the attachments neatly fit in my nail care bag without taking up too much space. Beginners should use this file carefully, as it's powerful and easy to hurt yourself. Even now, I still use it at the lowest setting, and it's more than enough to remove my UV-cured nail polish. ... show more

Purchased in Nov 2023 and worked great until it began overheating and stopped working in about 30-45 days. The seller contacted me and refunded my purchase price. Their customer service is top notch and I’m revising my review based upon their service and outreach. Okay, I’m going to be real honest here. I bought a nail drill for my aunt and I. Product arrived on time and we’ll packaged. The drill works good but I did notice just one thing that could have made this 5 star review..I noticed that my aunts nail drill speed setting goes down to the slowest or slowest which is good because you wanna be able to control the speed to your liking right ? However mine, even at the lowest setting it still goes pretty fast. Not sure why mine does that or maybe it’s just defective but I’m still disappointed about that.
