This item rescued me from being embarrassed on my last flight. I didn't have any problems on the other SW 800 Max8 and 737-700 flights. However, on my last flight the seatbelt was extremely snug. I took my seatbelt extender out of the pouch and it worked perfectly. My husband was so busy getting situated he didn't even notice I had use it. LOL I had a comfortable flight. Update 7.7.2025. Just flew SW last weekend and this does not work with the new planes. However, the seatbelts are quite a bit longer and I didn't need the extender. ORIGINAL REVIEW I felt so much better not having to ask for an extender. Just had it in my purse and voila, all was well. Worked perfectly on Southwest.

I bought this because I'm on the bigger side and thought this was make traveling more comfortable. Tonight I flew for the first time with it, on southwest, 737-800 and it didn't fit. I struggled with it for 5 mins before the stewardess came over and said "sir, I'm going to need you to put that away now". Very embarrassing.

As a larger gal I’ve had to ask for seatbelt extenders the last few times I’ve flown. This time I decided to give this a shot to save the embarrassment. I put it in my purse, went through security with no issues and sat next to the window each time. I was easily able to get it out and discretely use it without my anyone knowing, evening the two ladies flying with me. This specific one worked on 3 of my 4 flights. I would 10/10 recommend!

First off, this does not fit the seat belts on the new 737-800 planes. The connectors do not fit. That said, the seat belts are longer on these new planes, so I didn't even need the extender and I was comfortable (I wear 42-44 size pants, if that is a good point of reference). They fit perfectly on the older 737-700 plane seat belts. The belts are shorter on these planes (sad face). They are tight fit for me, but I wanted the extra comfort with the extender. It was easy to use, color matches, attendants didn't notice anything. Works as it should, everything clicked in good.

The color was not an exact match, but it connected well and got the job done. The strap is incredibly long though. I recommend adjusting at home so you are not fiddling with the length on the plane.
