  • Fun for the whole family
This is my second Viper, first one got a hole chewed by a squirrel, always keep them stored in plastic totes, and I absolutely love it. It is a tube that's on the large scale and can be felt by the boat when towing, definitely get a two-three person rope for it. Its like riding in a small boat it is so stable and one can go for hours in it. The bottom is cushioned and can get bouncy, we found out of you don't quite fill it all the way it can help with that. There is a felt like material where the handles are so your knuckles don't get raw like on other tubes. The back could be placed closer as it makes your life vest rise up. With the tube being so stable it's great for getting the kids who are really nervous started. Also great to get the older family members back into having some fun. If you pull at the right speed they don't have to knuckle grip to hang on, and its great to see grandma smile. And when the young ones want to swim its great for mom to lounge in and get some sun. The only complaint is when you do want to go wild you really have to get to speed and find large wakes. I haven't been able to figure out how to steer this type of tube and I'm not really sure if one can. But when you do get it ripping around oh boy. There is no exaggeration to say I've gotten close to six feet off the water and have even had the tube flip me completely out. As mentioned, it feels heavy when the boat is towing, you can feel it back there when driving which is nice so you know if you still have your rider. The tube itself is very large so it makes it very difficult to have in the boat fully inflated. I highly recommend this tube if you have a family with a wide range of ages and do lots of family gatherings at the lake. Its very durable with normal year to year use. ... show more

  • This is a calm ride
If you are looking to give your riders a calm predictable ride, this is what you need. Air bladder appears thick and our shell is also durable. However, I broke stitching on the seating area (about 2-inch tear). Since it's in the seating area it will not impact things. However, this is not uncommon with tubes and other accessories like this. Consider all the high speed and friction involved however for the price you hope not to bust stitching in the first season. This has two air ballers. Main outer chamber and seat chamber. Handles and rope attachment area has held up well. ... show more

  • Great tube for all ages, and comfort levels
I bought this tube because my son's girlfriend is not fond of the water, but we want her to fell included when we spend the day boating..... She was quite comfortable, and enjoyed her turn. It was easy to keep her protected inside the wake, but yet give her a good bouncy ride. She is ready for round two and want to go outside the wake next time. I am very happy with the product, it seems to be made very well. Time will tell how long it last.... A final note, is that I do suggest using the product in conjunction with a produce like the ORB. the front end has a tendancy to dig in when your tuber is bouncing around, and with out the ORB, to keep the rope and thus the front of the tube up, I could see a lot more spills happening. ... show more

  • Great Fun!
I'm an over 65 female and this is the perfect toy for me. it's easy to step into from the boat. There is never a time that it seems unstable or about to turn over. The fit is a little odd inside the seating area. I find myself leaning back in an odd way that I have to adjust from time to time. That could just be the life jacket. The handles are soft on my hands, so I don't need gloves to ride. It does not track in the wake very well. It's always to the side of the wake, and sometimes just jumps into the water to the side. We have to stop and start over when that happens. I also dislocated a shoulder two years ago, and have not been able to use the arm as before the accident. I am able to sit comfortably with a minimum of "hanging on". No problem! Great fun! ... show more

  • Great ride
My 45 year old daughter requested this for Christmas. They live on a lake and everyone wants to be outside! Her husband pulled her behind their jet ski. They had to make adjustments since the spray would hit my daughter on this raft! After that, it was great fun. Helps to live in Florida

  • you will love this!
we got a great price on this tube and have had a chance to use it twice. We love it!!! Assuming the tube holds up, I'd give it 6 stars!!!!! It is a perfect size for an adult size person (I'm 6'2" and fit into it easily). It would probably hold two smaller size kids if you wanted. The only thing I'd point out to someone buying this tube, you have to be somewhat aware of the front of the tube when the boat takes off. If you are leaning forward at all, the nose might go down into the water. THIS ISN'T AN ISSUE. It takes very little effort to keep this from happening. I'm looking forward to the next hot day when we can take our boat out and go tubing! ... show more

  • Hole in mid seat section when it arrived. Major disappointment.
Took it to the lake to use it for the 1st time. My 6 year old was excited to use. We pumped it up. Hole in the middle seat section. Lost air in 10 minutes. What a dissapoitment for the last weekend of the kids summer. Never put in the water.

  • Poor durability
Lack of quality control. After 6 weeks and maybe 6 uses an underside seam is coming apart. Return window closed after 30 days.
